    @fsu1tm I sent you a message in chat as I am sure we can help fix this issue for you. It’s relatively simple to work out.

    The FOG_STORAGENODE_MYSQLUSER and FOG_STORAGENODE_MYSQLPASS are for storage nodes to link to a central fog server.

    Hopefully this helps explain that. These are not what you would want to put in your main server, though I suppose it wouldn’t hurt them either.

    Hi,

    Not sure in 1.2, but in SVN version you can specify the default boot via FOG Configuration > iPXE Menu Customization

    Regards,
    Ch3i.

    perfect, that’s what I was searching for.
    I will give it a try.
    Here the tutorial for installing the SVN for other with the same problem:

    The long-term solution is having only one FOG server, and having storage nodes at the different sites. You could use the “location plugin” also.

    @sagar

    You must also have the local Linux user set with the same credentials.

    There’s an article in the wiki called “Troubleshoot FTP” that will tell you all about it.

    SVN is relatively stable. Many of us use it in production 😛

    Well after fighting with this thing for the better part of a week, I think I’ve finally got it stabilized. I’m on revision 3526, and I ended up creating a new image from scratch. Uploading and downloading finally work correctly, and while I do have an issue with the image, that’s a Windows issue not a FOG issue. Thanks to @Wayne-Workman for all his help, hopefully now you guys can move on to more important things, like a stable release. 😄

    @brycew

    FOG Trunk has now been confirmed working on Ubuntu 15.04

    Upgrade to the latest trunk, and you may need to run the installer a few times for it to get through.

    The problem was that the master node check box wasn’t selected. As it was a new storage node, it needed selecting.

    Thank you all for your help. It’s much appreciated.

    @KarlFife

    What version of FOG?

    This is just a guess, but, because imaging works for you with other systems, that particular motherboard might not be supported by the current kernel / inits that you have.

    You could try other kernels… newer ones… older ones…

    If you find one that works, let us know so we can update our hardware lists:

    Just looking back and the image size on the server still displays zero.

    The server size would display zero if the images are stuck in /images/dev

    Did you look at the credentials section of that article?

    When I try “service vsftpd status” I get Unknown job:vsftpd

    I get the same when I try it on my other fog box which is working.

    I had been using “service tftpd-hpa restart” to restart ftp previously.
    I can ftp into the fog server from a windows PC, so it looks like it’s running.

    tftp-hpa is TFTP, not FTP.

    Take a look at the credentials section.

    Hello,

    I had the same pb with my sfx file. To solve this i created a .bat file that run the installer (or any other file) which will be run after extract. with this method it works. But perhaps you have already found a solution to your issue 😉
    the SFX maker i use is the one created by David Cornish (SFX Maker by http://www.isoft-online.com/ never worked for me)
