      should someone open a new thread for this new issue?
      The problem with the installer.sh is fixed for me too.

      what should I do with them? let them inside or delete?
      If I delete them, the installer runs until the end but I get this while the installer is running:

      * Comparing checksums of kernels and inits....................Done
      PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/20151012/mbstring.so' - /usr/lib/php/20151012/mbstring.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
      PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/20151012/mbstring.so' - /usr/lib/php/20151012/mbstring.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

      after installing php-mbstring this error is gone.

      After first check I found that the Menu “iPXE Menu Configuration” is for me not available. I get the message on the top:
      “ID Must be set to edit”
      0_1478525756795_fog.JPG

      I removed everything before installing this version, so it’s like a fresh install in my opinion.

      hey the php_ver was 7 and not 7.0 so now it looks like this:

      php_ver='7.0'
      php_verAdds='-7.0'

      and I re-updated, ran the installer and in the error file is this:

      ...
      mysql stop/waiting
      mysql start/running, process 18850
       * Stopping web server apache2
       *
      php7.0-fpm: unrecognized service

      I’m using ubuntu 14.04.05:
      if I change the php_ver and php_verAdd I get this error later in the update-process:

      no there is nothing in the apache error log.
      If the client is not registered, it’s possible to chosse the direct deployment in the menu. Everything runs fine.
      But if the client is already registered, then I get the error with the “chainloading failed”

    • chainloading failed
      Server
      • FOG Version: RC-13
      • OS: Ubuntu 14.04.05
      Client
      • Service Version:
      • OS: Ubuntu 14.04.04
      Description

      deploying image over the web-interface is running, registering the client is running and HDD boot is also running.
      If I try to deploy image over the ipxe menu, i get the “chainloading failed”

      http://192.168.94.111/fog/service/ipxe/boot.php... ok
      Chainloading failed, hit 's' for the iPE shell: reboot in 10 seconds

      if I choose “Quick Host Deletion” i get quiet the same (after confirm deletion with ‘y’)

      http://192.168.94.111/fog/service/ipxe/boot.php... ok
      Could not boot: Operation canceld (http://ipxe.org/0b22e0a0)
      Could not boot: Operation canceld (http://ipxe.org/0b22e0a0)
      Chainloading failed, hit 's' for the iPE shell: reboot in 10 seconds

      How i remember in RC-5 everything worked fine. First time i got this issues was in RC-10. But the issue could be earlier.
      The boot menu exit types are “SANBOOT” and EFI is "EXIT.

      After reboot the server starts to deploy the image again.

      • the rights and the owner of /images seems to be ok
      • ftp://[IP] works
      • the mysql password is correct (mysql was updated to the latest via apt-get upgrade (14.04.4))

      no it’s not an issue right now. For me the path looks strange with the double slash and I was not able to figure out why it’s always like this after upgrading the trunk.
      So then the thread can be closed. Thanks
