This will only work on FOG <1.0, but here it is, in case anybody is searching the forum for something similar. In this case, my saSnapinID is 122, and we were looking for all hosts with a hostOS of 1 (which was XP).

Just an observation for anyone scratching their head.

I upgraded from 0.32 to 1.2.0 and noticed that I didn’t require the domain name in front of the Domain Username anymore.

Used the following to diag, FOG_SERVER_ADDRESS/fog/service/hostname.php?mac=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

Noticed that my domain name was in duplicate before my Domain Username.

Logic says remove it and it was golden! Sha-wing!

This is expected.

I know you don’t like seeing it, but it should only appear on download tasks. It’s the epoll in the kernel. It tries to notify the system about the new partitions which at that time, does not exist hence it popping the error. It should not impact imaging though.

Not without researching it.

The latest svn fixed the issue.

According to the page that you have linked, you can run

sanboot [url]http://<ip>/fog/service/ipxe/isos/<filename>.iso[/url]

We recently had this issue on only an individual PC. Perform a mem test through FOG’s PXE boot. We determined it to be a memory issue with the machine. If you are having success with other machines, it would have to be traced back to that specific machine.

It should (hopefully) fix the weirdness that was ubuntu/debian and get new client stuff.

I am building it on a Windows 7 box. I also tried registering a different machine that has not been touched yet and I got the same error.

Give ipxe.efi a try but I have a feeling that it will fail!! You better try to change the BIOS settings to legacy mode and use undionly.kpxe (see in the WorkingDevices list…)

3189 should address the mobile user logging in as well as remove the warnings about the headers sent and the random display of 1 or 0 on the mobile login page.
