Hey tt_83, I’m had the same issue as well. I downgraded to 1.1.2 and it worked immediately. I didn’t have to re-upload.

Thanks for letting us know. I am about to tackle the process of switching over from Novell to AD, so these are the things I need to know before I figure them out myself!!! 😄

Sorry for the late response. I didn’t see your message. I am running 1.2.0 on Ubuntu 12.04. I am running into another problem now where even unicasting is crashing the network… Any suggestions?

any newly registered host will have them enabled, it’s only imported hosts and hosts from upgrades (so far as i am aware) that do not have them enabled by default. the easiest way to enable them for all hosts in the system would be to create a temporary group of all hosts, and apply the desired settings to them. or you could do it with a mysql command

I don’t have it set up to join the domain. There’s also been a few occasions where after the image is complete, the PC will reboot and revert to the image name. I’ll change it back to e.g. (HS-215-04), as listed on the Fog server, then it reboots again and reverts to the image name.

Now the million dollar question Junkhacker, is it worth setting up a GParted iso to boot into so that I can format drives automatically.

Or just keep a cd for it… 😛

    Hi DoubleD,

I don’t know if there is a broken distro of Apache out there. When you run installfog.sh it runs apt-get to fetche all the bits it needs. It seems to be downloading an apache which does not have the mods enabled or are incomplete for some reason.

Maybe it will get fixed at some point, but at least we have a workaround…

I think it means exactly as the title states.

    Multipartition = Multiple Partitions.
All Disk = All disks on the system.

BTW no firewall on the fogserver, I can ping both the host and server from eachother.

    with undionly.kkpxe - I get a reboot no messages
    with undionly.kpxe - I get a reboot no messages
with undionly.kpxe.INTEL - I get a fog menu. I did a host registration on and older PC and it worked, on the newer PC it doesn’t work.
with ipxe.kpxe I get a fog menu - same error as the .INTEL file
with ipxe.kkpxe I get a fog menu and again same error.

The error is DHCP/BOOTP: Reply not for us, op[2] xid[number changes] repeats this with different xid numbers then says:
    IP-Config: Reopening network devices…
repeats again with different xid numbers.

Can confirm I edited the .fogsettings and Config.class.php files and the database then upgraded perfect fine, just editing the .fogsettings still wasn’t working hence changing the Config too.
