I think I finally understand what the issue is.

You are not allowed to delete tasks from the Search list. This was never the intent, but it was mistakenly put in.

I’ve now fixed it. For now, I’m not going to allow any deleting/canceling from the search fields. I also am ensuring you can cancel all tasks that are in a progress state (meaning they’re not complete or cancelled already).

@Tom-Elliott Since I just use “c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe” in “run with” to run batch files there should be no surprises with other snapins for now.
And knowing the “workaround” to fix existing snapins (that won’t run) by simply updating them, there is no problem left at the moment related to this topic.

Uploading an image with “Multiple Partition Image - Single Disk (Not Resizable)” is running right now.
Guess it solved the problem. If there is any problem at the end of imaging or when downloading I’ll report again.

I don’t think it was incorrectly set by installer, but rather, it was incorrect (defaulting to eth0) from a long time ago. Probably before I started reading the name of the interface.

@Tom-Elliott I think storage node passwords are stored in the DB as plain-text.

It does not change the password in the DB unless I hit the update button - which happened once.

I was correcting the interface name and did not know the password field was changed, hit “Update” and boom, imaging doesn’t work lol. I figured it out eventually and then narrowed in on what caused it…

Just trying to get updated information. I’m assuming most or all of things described as problems have been fixed. Is this true? Can we solve this thread?

I believe this is fixed as the delete button for all pages was broken for a little bit. It was not directing to the deletemulti element and this would not have deleted on any page. I’m solving this thread but please let me know if there is still an issue. Thanks.

Fixed in trunk in that it should be downloading the file properly and this has been confirmed on another thread.

I imagine this is currently working as we no longer have a save group bar being passed but the more accurate deletemulti but the fact is you should not be seeing that on a task page.

@Tom-Elliott Yep, it’s there now for me as well.

I get the location request and I hit ? and it just loops back to asking again and again. I know the numbers and can hit 7 or 8 which are the DB number assigned to my locations but they never show up on the menu when requested.
