They are identical computers, set up exactly the same from top to bottom. I did notice that on the web management the bandwidth meter on the receiving end is really bouncing around from around 11 to 0 back to 11 back to 0 and I checked the eth0 drops and it is showing 45405, that seems extremely high, could that be causing the issue maybe a corrupted image?
I also noticed an issue with Bandwidth – mine doesn’t show any activity at all. I am running 1.2.0

The hostname change is based on the hostname set in your host :

The AD integration is based on the settings set in your host to :

For the password you need to use fogcrypt, you can download it at : http://yourserver/fog/management/index.php?node=client .

    Wiki :
    Fogcrypt : http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/FOGCrypt
    AD : http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Active_Directory_-_FOG_Setting

I’m running into the same problem.

    Using Fog 1.2.0
    Optiplex 3020, BIOS A05
No matter which kernel I use (official or unpublished) I can’t upload my image.
It gets stuck at “Using Hard Disk: /dev/sda”

And really, only kernels 3.14.2 and 3.16.0 have let me get this far. I let it go an hour yesterday hoping it would work but it just freezes at this point.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

You can mount it in ISCSI.

The “This is not partclone image” error, so far as i know, only shows up on downloads, not uploads. are you sure you pressed the right button?
You said you deleted the OEM partition. Is there a blank space were it was, or did you expand another partition into that space?

Why with the misspelling of my last name?

Why not just call me Tom?

I don’t know if my assumptions are correct so that is something you or somebody who configured the system for you would’ve done.

Oups. Sorry I lost a lot of time to debug before seeing that the image was not well set. I set “multi partitions multi disks” instead of “multi partitions single disk”.

    Sorry to disturb you.
Ok so I asked to change the bootfile to undionly.kpxe and it and passes that step and it goes to “iPXE initializing devices” and the Pc just reboots without showing any menu. Now what am I doing wrong???
I solved my PXE-T01 issues by using DNSMASQ

Thank you for the info Junkhacker. I was able to recover the storage. Somewhere along the lines the configuration got lost. I reconfigured the system manually and I was able to recovered the storage.

Thank you Tom, you’re really fast !

I understand… Google “translation” doesn’t translate effectively well the English in French.
But most of the open-source softwares are in English so don’t be in a hury, we can bear with it !

I thank you for your answer and for your work. Competitors will be misty by FOG.

is this with all 780’s or 1 or a select few?
i’ve had a few issues with 780’s and 380’s where they performed slower then they should while booted into windows, and the I/O chip on the motherboard (the one that doesn’t have a heatsink) gets so hot you can’t keep a finger on it. just the other day i had one of these that i was having trouble getting to work with fog, and after being really persistent with it, it eventually failed to boot at all any more. as in, will not go past the dell splash screen, freezes 😞
