Thanks Tom. It was firewalld. Someone should add that to the CentOS 7 wiki page. Other then that so far wiki installation page seems spot on for CentOS7.

I know this is probably a simple fix and it’s just eluding me right now. I just finished installing fog 1.2.0 on my CentOS 7 server. I can access the management page from the fogserver itself. However, whenever I try to access it from any other computer it doesn’t load (Page cannot be displayed). Both ways via IP address. I can ping the fogserver and get replies. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Just tried reinstalling CentOS 6.6 and it gave the same error. I’m going to try CentOS 7 later today when I have more time.

Ok I uninstalled apache2 then ran the fog install script again. Failed at the same spot. Then I tried uninstalling apache2, php, MySQL, and HTTPD. Ran the fog installer again. Failed again in same spot.

I believe I’m having the same issue as the OP (“Setting up and starting Apache Web Server…Failed!” however mine has “(2)” at the end). I was trying to use the same solution but I have CentOS 6 and “sudo yum --purge remove apache2 apache2.2-common” does not work. Sorry I’m a noob with Lunix.

However that’s the official name. That’s like saying since Vista(Windows version #6 and Japanese FF2) sucked it’s not really Windows 6 and windows 7 (Windows version #6.1 and FF4) is actually 6. The FF distributor that localized FF3 and FF4 to the US originally were retarded and messed things up. Which is why when they were released on the DS and PSP the names were corrected.

I’m about to stand up a new FOG server on HyperV using a CentOS 7 server. I quickly looked through the forum and didn’t see anything regarding compatibility. Does anyone know any issues with CentOS 7 or should I just stick with 6.5?

I would try adding this to the “Snapin Run With”[CODE]%SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\cscript.exe[/CODE]

This works better then “C:\Windows\System32\cscript.exe” incase the systemroot is something other than C:\ and if I recall right this runs the cscript in 32-bit mode and will execute on both 64-bit and 32-bit systems properly.
