Good to know. So it seams to only cause problems with a distinct combination of curl and openssl version(s). Possibly the newer curl version works around an openssl bug or the other way round… 😄
Wanted to post another update. Updated to 6893 this morning. Removed my sleep and service stop commands from rc.local and rebooted. CPU seems to be in check again. Thanks for all your hard work!
I believe you, but theory and practice are different beasts 🙂
Sure they are! That’s why I suggested to give FOG trunk a try! Kernel 3.19.3 might boot some of your UEFI machines but will fail with those having more recent NICs! This is not just a theory. We have seen different people posting about those issues several times a week in the last months!
@scott45426 Thanks for you answer. We are more than happy to help even if it’s not a “FOG issue”. 🙂 Please let us know when you (your colleges) found out what’s causing this in your setup. The information will help other users in the future. I am marking this solved for now.
Hey All, the issue was resolved. Its the problem with php.ini -> time zone not set. After going through same problem & solution in other thread - tried the same. Set the time zone and removed leading ;
This successfully completed the schema update and installation.
@cortoM This might be solving it for you but it actually really just a quick hack. If you are still keen to find out why FOG is choosing the wrong device on your system we need more information. See Wayne’s and my previous post.
