I was afraid of that. The good thing is that the laptops are under warranty so I can get the NIC’s fixed. so in the end things will work out. I think it is a good plan to NOT to worry about iPXE and wifi. Keep the core product working as it does and in the end outliers will find other methods.
This is good.

      This is good.

What do you mean a text file? Is it asking you to download a file or is it displaying text in the browser? Can you give us some of the output?

colour --rgb 0xff0000 0 is the correct syntax

The english spelling never worked. iPXE was never coded using US English syntax. All the error you’re seeing means is that the ipxe.iso you have does not have the command tools built into it.
I’m running into the same error. I’m using a website, https://rom-o-matic.eu , to build my ipxe.iso.
I’m guessing that I’m missing some build options that deal with the command tools.
Have any of you used this site before to build your ISO? If so can you tell me what option(s) I must select in order to rectify this issue?

I can confirm Dell E6410’s work with v1.0.1. They work with the new updated kpxe files in https://mastacontrola.com/ipxe/latest-DEFAULT-TEST/undionly.kpxe.

I have no issues with this right now.

That darned cache. Clearing it worked for me. I don’t know why but Firefox has that issue with many websites.
there was a line in the install script telling you that you would need to edit the config.php file if you had a password
you had to hit enter to proceed past that message
here is the line:

it in the config.php file located at:

       /var/www/fog/commons/config.php

It talks about if MySQL isn’t install. It was already installed. Therefore It did NOT apply to me. Maybe you should read the line before criticizing me. Or you should write the line in the script so that it says change the config.php file even is you already have MySQL installed.

Also a line in the script says:
Please see our wiki for more information at http://www.fogproject.org/wiki

That is why I suggested it should be in the wiki, not the script.

That should work, but definitely read the wiki article on how to upgrade.

You’ll need to get their MAC Addresses.

Get on your fog server and delete the PXE files associated for those macs.

      They’ll be located in:
/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/01-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX
You remove those two files and the systems will not try to “FOG” after every reboot.

You set the IP or FQDN of the FOG server when you install the FOG client. That is stored in a config file inside the FOG client install directory. I can’t remember the path off the top of my head but it’s something like C:\Program Files (x86)\FOG\etc\config.ini …or something like that.

So I have to extract the entire FOG application on the Windows machine. That worked. Thank you. Slowly but surely I am working through the details of running FOG. My suggestion for improving the wiki is better topic organization. To me the topics have no logical structure, once I read one topic where should I go next? Only a suggestion.

Solved with help of another forum. Using the GUI sysprep does not read the unattended.xml file. You must use the command line and the unattend option. I’m amazed I am the first to have this issue.
