Toshiba Satellite L355D

I don’t know if this is an incompatibility issue or more likely a hardware issue.
When I try to fog this laptop I get a series of error messages. I get four of these messages:
[drm:drm_edid_block_valid] ERROR Raw EDID
then I get this message:
[drm:radeon_dvi_detect] ERROR HDMI-A-1 probed a monitor but no|invalid EDID

then the series repeats until I shut off the laptop.

Any ideas?
