    @Tom-Elliott
Sorry for the long time (managing more than two site is pretty crazy).
In despair, I’ve erased the whole disk (images included) and reinstalled. Everything works fine (for) now. I suppose I’ll never know what the problem was.
    Thanks for being there.

I created a write up a few months ago that focused on this topic. It is geared towards centos running as a VM, but you should be able to translate it to ubuntu pretty easy.

@jmcg Yes, please create a new thread for it, it’s not too hard to do, though.

@george1421 No idea. But the default settings for Win7 and Win10 don’t let tftp commands work. It took me a long time to figure that out, because I was thinking exactly as you were, that all outbound was allowed. There must be more to it that causes the issue - and I don’t have any desire or need to figure out why lol. Incredibly rarely do I myself need to test tftp from windows… because I always just use Linux now.

I forgot to update this thread, I managed to fix this, the configuration files had been reset appon the upgrade, I imputed the correct ftp password.

I no longer work for the company where I had the fog installation.

    Thank you

Many Thanks for the guidance I really do appreciate it because of yourself and others on this fantastic forum I have learned alot.

I haven’t had a chance today to play with the FOG stuff. However hopefully I can look at the DHCP configuration side of things tommorow.

I will report back my progress and any problems.

    Many Thanks

Following up on this topic with new news.

I was just told about issues with imaging a Latitude 3350. Currently we’re on FOG 1.3.0 RC-18 and using kernel 4.8.1.

I’ve added the kernel arguments pci=noacpi into this spot here:
Web Interface -> FOG Configuration -> FOG Settings -> General Settings -> FOG_KERNEL_ARGS in order for the issue to just go away for any system that may have the problem.

This worked, but the keyboard on the Dell Latitude 3350 would not work. We worked around this by attaching a USB keyboard.

There are also other mutli-fog-server setups too. At work, we use a 15-server distributed FOG system and it works fine. We have 1 web interface we use to control/do stuff wherever we want. FOG can do this out-of-box.

@Quazz If he went to the browser and ran it, invalid login is coming from the fact the browser is failing to see any login information.

I’m solving and moving though, this is not a bug. The snapin never completed, and all I care about is if the start time is within the “scope” you’re searching for.
