using the method wayne posted would give you the complete database, including the hosts and image info. if you didn’t want to do a complete database restore, you could pull the data you wanted from it anyway.

@Scott-B None of that stuff is in the globalSettings table. Look for yourself and see what I’m talking about. select settingDesc from globalSettings;

@Sebastian-Roth Totally different GUI for setting up the partitions - and may have a little bit different experience with installing since it’s as minimal as you can get.

We can have two though, one for server and one for workstation - since installing and partitioning looks totally different from each other.

I’ve got a video on partitioning Ubuntu 16 server but I just haven’t gotten around editing it yet.

Ok, finally got a localized install working on Ubuntu 14! I had to do the install off of my work site to get the packages downloaded correctly. To get computers to PXE boot I had a sysadmin friend walk me through making 2 ethernet interfaces in my virtual machine and used the machine hosting the VM to access the web interface.

While you did post errors, they are incredibly difficult to read… can you copy/paste instead of screenshot and use our code-wrapper tool so they display properly?

Additionally - when you post errors and such as a screen shot, the content isn’t searchable. It won’t show up in search results. There is no reason to do this, especially when your in a situation where copy/paste is viable.

Yes that kind of modification is working. Except that i had to modify that in the file fogproject/lib/common/functions.sh
