I believe this is now fixed.

Most of the problem was because of duplicate hostMAC entries.

The way I fixed:
In mysql:
ALTER IGNORE TABLE hostMAC ADD UNIQUE INDEX hmHostID (hmMAC);
Please see the attached file for full details, but answers are also below.

Yes, it’s using an unattended file for sysprep. And yes it skips the create PC name / User No, hostname is not defined*

That sounds about right. Really weird.
I’m going to start making a sysprep machine for Win7 with some slight changes, most should look like the Win81 sysprep though. This is merely to see if the same server acts weird there or if it’s a Win81 problem.

In svn I’ve changed how this field is viewed. While still not resizable it’s done more like how search/list hosts can be added to groups.

Sorry, I resolved the problem today - LastPass seemed to be conflicting with the form. When I told it never to work on the domain (not just the page) everything was fine.

This thread can be deleted. Thanks!

There is no expected release date for 1.3.0, though I am hoping soon. We’ve been working on multiple things as you’re no doubt finding right now. Torrent-casting, Menu customizations, Partition selection for imaging, FOG Service, etc… are hopefully soon to come to fruition. The swap-UUID methodology works well now, but I don’t know for the case of multiple swap partitions.

Please post the diff’s. Preferably base them on the trunk pull form as it it makes it easier to find, edit and fix based on what’s already been changed. I’m always open for suggestions and help as I imagine the majority of the dev team as well. We are all human and don’t know everything.

As I said before, I hear you, as in I understand what you’re saying, you won’t add this feature.

With a reference to the “the big picture” I’m refering to the subject/problem (it should probably have written “my big…” instead of “the…”) If it was understood differently or negatively I appologize that was not the intention, reading through the thread again it could look like it, but as I said, it wasn’t the intention.

Making core changes to an application is not something I’m willing to do any longer.
I’ve tried that, lost the documentation and can’t upgrade without having to restart the whole hack.

And I know what you’re going through, coding/support/documentation etc. to the OSS commnunity, it’s not a stranger to me.

just fyi:

I can see others creating a tasking and not understanding why that one system isn’t being imaged with the rest when the expected action is of that type
A big red (pink?) warning appears on the screen when a client fails.

Right,

This is a known limitation of any Operating system or BIOS.

Right now, we’re obligated to “legacy” network boot. If UEFI is enabled, “legacy” methods can’t exit back to UEFI models. So what ends up happening is the hdd, when trying to boot to hdd, is actually searching for MBR information which is non-existent on UEFI/GPT disks.

I’m sorting all the stuff by the first column. So in the case of Login history, the “Action” is the first column. I can see about fixing that for the host login stuff though.
That would be great. I am surprised that this was not noticed by any other beefore.
I just noticed that the tables are dynamic so with the list can be sorted by a click on a column header 🙂
The Snapins can be sorted by the name rather than the id, though i though that was how it was operating.
I have arround 150 SnapIns and selecting a few for a deployment take some “unnecessary” time.
I would even suggest to make that list box a little bit bigger, e.g. at least 6 visible lines instead on only 4.
Or it is possible to maximize the list dynamic ?
Hey,
As per my understanding of your problem your computer restarts automatically. This problem arises due to malfunctioning shell-extensions, corruption of the system files, incorrect power settings, and so on. Since your question lacks detailed information about your machine I’m hereby providing complete troubleshooting guide.

Diagnose your Memory

Press Windows Key + X. Click Search. Type “Memory” in the Search Box. Click the Settings icon. Open “Diagnose your computer’s memory problems”. Click “Restart now and check for problems” button. The computer will be automatically restarted and it’ll conduct several memory tests.

Run the System File Checker

Insert Windows 8.1/ 8 installation disc. Press Windows Key + X. Click “Command Prompt (Admin)”. Type the following command:
sfc /scannow Press ENTER.

Reset Power Settings

Press Windows Key + X. Click Power Options. Click “Change plan settings” link ahead of the selected active plan. Click “Restore default settings for this plan” link. Click “Save changes” button.
For more troubleshooting guidelines please watch this video.
This would only be the steps to follow if there was a problem with the OS. The issue he’s referring to is to deal with a known issue with the Auto Log Out service in the FOG Client.

Sorry about the confusion, when the list of active snapins is present, by double clicking one of the “Delete” buttons the page goes blank as pictured in the screenshot. A standard refresh of the page does not resolve the issues, only clicking the “Active Snapin Tasks” link on the left side properly reloads it. Non of the snapin tasks are removed, only the gui glitches.

Ok, thanks, In fedora20 is default. I understand you don’t include this support, but an exception on the log file could be a good idea.
I spent a few hours to identify the trouble and some other people could do too. Sorry if I miss any documentation about it.

Sorry, I attach the fedora 20 output:
em1: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet x.x.x.x netmask 255.255.255.224 broadcast x.x.x.y
As you can see, there is not a ‘:’ but the source code search for it:
exec(“/sbin/ifconfig | grep ‘[0-9]{1,3}.[0-9]{1,3}.[0-9]{1,3}.[0-9]{1,3}’| cut -d’:’ -f 2 | cut -d’ ’ -f1”, $arR, $retVal);
so the outuput is null…
Ciao
