@george1421 said in Getting Kernel Panics after upgrade to 1.5.9-RC2:

I’m kind of curious if the installer looks specifically for 127000 and will only increase it if it matches. I’m surprised that 250000 remained after the upgrade to the latest release.

I have not had a look at the code for this yet but it might be the case…

It should. OS isn’t really that relevant. Its the component software: webserver software, php, and mysql that you need to make sure is compatible.

@wayne-workman Hey Wayne, thanks for your help. You can close this. We are migrating to a new image anyways and I don’t have a ton that are deployed out, so I’m just going to start from scratch. Thank you very much. : )

Possibly. I’m not getting the 500 error, but everything else looks the same.

@Tom-Elliott The script you posted had a few issues, I’ve fixed them up. A mistyped variable in the first loop, and I added code to update the snapinAssoc IDs too so those aren’t lost. I’ve submitted a pull request.

All, the improved script will be available here:
      https://github.com/FOGProject/fog-community-scripts

This is just a hold-over honestly. We need a big and comprehensive script to just cleanup and re-order everything. Locations, images, snapins, groups, everything - as well as running cleanup commands that we know fixes stuff and can’t hurt but can only help.
