@Sebastian-Roth Tom has worked with me on this server before as I did some testing a long while ago- it may have gotten changed around then. 🙂

@Junkhacker Hey, that did it! Thanks! Although it was set to 250000. Is this a bug with the RC or did I miss something I was supposed to do?

    • Getting Kernel Panics after upgrade to 1.5.9-RC2

(it’s been a while to forgive me for not remembering log locations)

Trying to reimage a Dell Latitude 5411 in UEFI- I am getting the following message:

      RAMDISK: incomplete write (-28 != 4096)
      X2-compressed data is corrupt
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(1,0)
      Kernel Offset: disabled

I have also tested in a VM and they give the same thing.

    • RE: Deploying Windows Server?

@george1421 Virtual, Hyper-V. I’ll look into that more. I know there’s Desired State Config, but I need to read more.

      Thanks!

@sudburr Nice, I’ll start working on images. Any snapins? Can feature installations be set with Snapins?

    • Deploying Windows Server?

      Hi everyone,

Has anybody ever tested deploying WS from FOG? I’m deploying a lot of servers these days and having FOG able to do that would be nice.

If not, I may test today. I don’t want to have to move to MDT/WDS/DSC unless I have to for this.

      Thanks!

@wayne-workman Hey Wayne, thanks for your help. You can close this. We are migrating to a new image anyways and I don’t have a ton that are deployed out, so I’m just going to start from scratch. Thank you very much. : )

      Well bad news

@wayne-workman No, not yet. 😞 I’m sorry, I’ve been promoted so I am sorta swamped with a ton of projects. I promise I will update as soon as I can.

@wayne-workman Errr- no. I actually don’t think I did. I must have missed that.

I will do that as soon as I get back into the office.

Getting this still unfortunately. IP address in the cert is correct now, but I’m getting there’s something still up. Is there anything else I can do?

    • RE: I goofed up the cert for my FOG server(s). Can I recover?

@sebastian-roth Yes, and in the mixup I must have setup FOG when it had a different IP. Oops.

@Wayne-Workman You’re totally right. Old habit from when I first started working with FOG and that’s how the boss wanted it. 😛
