@ITCC Would you be willing to get a step-by-step guide for Debian ready? Would be a great starting point.

@ITCC upgrading FOG will maintain its identity, so long as you don’t use --recreate-CA

      Yep you are correct.

not sure how I missed it. I searched for my hostname in the reg with no matches.
It was 64 and i didn’t look under the Wow6432Node folder.

      Oh well, thanks

Well i’m now up to date as of SVN (unknown number at moment)

Anyway, this did not resolve the issue on it’s own but changing the PXE options worked just fine. Exit to 1st HDD.

i guess would have worked before but it’s better now anway.

      Thanks

@Sebastian-Roth that registry key is perfectly fine. The reason it looks like it’s missing a backslash is because of a bug in the registry handler logging mechanism in pre-0.9.12. But even if it was missing that slash, that registry key will not affect anything of importance

sourceforge site is down atm (SVN) and is out of our control however rest assured git is the latest version, if unsure just run git pull.

the version detail will be back in the gui if you install SVN Version, when it’s back up.

      “SF.net Operations
      ‏@sfnet_ops
#SourceForge down due to storage platform bug, working 24x7 on recovery and data validation, service restoral. Slashdot restored”

I absolutely love how they keep changing the name of what’s the issue… 😄 Yesterday it was “instability” and now it’s a “bug”. lol. SF people, please fix your issue so I can continue with my FOG Updates, Thank you.

Yes they can. I made sure v0.9.0 could still auto upgrade itself. Simply upgrade your server and all deployed clients will be auto upgrade to v0.9.0

Is it a normal menu, or does it say “Host not registered” ?

      Hi,

      i was maybe a little unprecise 😉
Yes you can Update but expect some little problems that can be fixed.
And you need to know that your old images will work but you have to use the information i gave you above.

i was talking about GPO in windows.

We have over 100 printers and FOG we felt would be fine for smaller installations.
