    Sorry for the late reply, got distracted with the weekend.

    Are you deploying the same resizable image to both the 380 and 390 or are these different images?

    They’re not hardware independent images, so I’ve been creating the master image on a 390 and then deploying to other 390s, and I’ve been trying to do that with the 380, but as mentioned it isn’t working.

    Have you ever successfully imaged an optiplex 380 with fog before? I believe I have several optiplex 380s here at home, they all image just fine.

    On our old FOG server they deployed just fine, but it seems there is some issue with this newer version of FOG or something.

    FOG version?

    I’m not at the office currently, but I believe it’s 1.5.2 or 1.5.3

    @sutra Sorry for the late reply! Can you provide the contents of d1.partitions, d1.minimum.partitions and d1.fixed_size_partitions? You find those files on your FOG server in /images/Alienware-i9-010618.

    If this is still not solved, I would like to look into the php-fpm configuration and the log file related to php-fpm. From the apache side your initial post says session time has expired. I’m seeing a lot of multicast posts in the forum. There may be something else going on we don’t expect.

    @joe-schmitt Providing a remote machine wont be an option for me to help, but any testing you need done I would be happy to do and report back.

    If I need to setup any machines on my end for me to test with I can do that as well.

    I have a more clear picture of the process you have detailed with the snapin, makes sense. I will make some alterations next week and test it out. Thanks

    Thanks George,
    df -h gives

    image@fog:~$ df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on udev 7.4G 0 7.4G 0% /dev tmpfs 1.5G 8.9M 1.5G 1% /run /dev/mapper/fog--vg-root 1.9T 1.8T 39G 98% / tmpfs 7.4G 0 7.4G 0% /dev/shm tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock tmpfs 7.4G 0 7.4G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup /dev/sda1 472M 58M 390M 13% /boot /dev/sdb1 4.6T 3.8T 549G 88% /images2 tmpfs 1.5G 0 1.5G 0% /run/user/1000

    As you can see there’s not a lot of space left on the first drive.
    I’ll be using th eimages for the next 3 weeks, even if they are not ideal, so I son’t want to create a new storage group in case I lose the images. the storage groups are;

    0_1528474518141_Storage nodes.jpg 0_1528474532470_storage group.jpg

    What would you suggest?

    My summer projects started and I was planning to update our FOG system. Re-install and deleting old FOG database worked. Plus our database got a little sloppy so a purge is always good IMO.

    I was able to remote in and find out what was going sideways with the OP’s system. I’ll fill out the details in a bit, but there is the keys.

    mods-enabled/php5.conf set handler

    9.4

    sites-enabled/001-fog.config

    It appears to be an issue with at least debian 9.4 at the moment where php-fpm wasn’t being enabled causing the sluggish UI and high apache usage.

    @xpalis said in Multicast is slow:

    multicast speeds reach up to 1.5-1.6 GB/min ONLY if i connected fog server separately from my network.

    So we see that your FOG server and the clients are able to do full speed. So it’s probably your network equipment or some kind of configuration of those. Would you mind drawing up a quick schema of your network structure including subnet information so we know better what your setup looks like?

    @Kami Can you please boot the client your are trying to capture into Windows and take a picture of the disk management dialog? While you are there make sure fast boot is disabled (a lot of the Windows updates to enable fast boot over and over again).

    I’m so close to getting this working The only issue now is that i get now is a “no viable macs to issue” I re-ran the installer 15 min ago and that did not help per this thread https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/12006/fog-perform-full-host-registration-no-viable-mac-to-use/5
    I renamed the .fogsettings file and re-ran the install still getting No Viable Macs to issue

    So close yet so far 🙂

    @Tom-Elliott
    So my interface completely locked up. I restarted the server and had no luck at all getting to my interface. I ended up having to remove PHP completely and then let the FOG installer re-install PHP. My interface is back up. I have not ran any tasks yet. I’m hoping it stays up long enough to get something done.
