Just to update you, I have just tested updating the image in fog 1.1.2 which uses part clone to capture and the progress bar is now working. 😉

Can confirm I edited the .fogsettings and Config.class.php files and the database then upgraded perfect fine, just editing the .fogsettings still wasn’t working hence changing the Config too.

Ahh No worries, if I suspect it is a bug I’ll post there sorry.
I wasn’t sure if it was something I did on the install.

I was thinking about this the other day,
Would this be something that could be done with PHP and iPXE using the ${product} field from iPXE?

      e.g.

      if the ${product} = OptiPlex 755
That way if we have problem PC’s that have a known product ID we can manually issue them a kernel over the default one.

      Cheers,

Just tested the Tom Elliott 3.0.1 64bit image.
Yep works fine on the Dell 755’s now. I’ll test on the other models shortly and let you all know how it goes.

      Cheers,

      Hi dl550,
I can’t see how this is related to the other posts in the thread!? To be honest I don’t really understand what you are asking for! Probably a good idea to open up a complete new post and describe what exactly goes wrong. Are you trying to have french keyboard layout?

I found a work around and tested a few things I found from the forum and iPXE website
It seems seems to be working well on all the computers I have tested so far -
