Fog 1.1.1 - Group Management with Location PHP Errors
Just noticed an issue when trying to use the location plugin section of Fog 1.1.1
When creating Groups after turning on the locations plugin I am getting a few fatal errors listed in PHP.
[Mon Jun 16 17:42:05 2014] [error] [client 10.0.0.1] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/www/html/fog/lib/pages/GroupManagementPage.class.php on line 253, referer: [url]http://fogserver/fog/management/index.php?node=group&sub=add[/url]
The group gets created and listed but when trying to edit the group I get a blank page.
I can confirm when disabling the location plugin this does not occur.
Ahh No worries, if I suspect it is a bug I’ll post there sorry.
I wasn’t sure if it was something I did on the install.
This should be fixed in SVN 1849, thanks for reporting. In the future, however, when you run across these kinds of things, can you please post them in the BUG’s forum? While I understand you’re unsure of which are and which aren’t bugs, when it comes to PHP Fatal error’s it’s most likely to be a BUG. If it’s not, I’ll generally let you know what’s causing the particular problem.
That said, I usually use the “Fatal Errors” to replicate and find/correct the issues as I go along, so if it’s giving blank or distorted page, look at error logs and report findings within the BUG Forum. Thank you very much.
