FOG Quick Registration within FOG System Settings.
Is it possible to get an AD check box in there like there is for Image_ID?
(so when you quick reg a new machine it is auto assigned to join AD)

at the bottom of the FOG web page you may want to add more of a space between FOG Project: and FOG Client:
client screen says, during host reg: Fatal: INT18: BOOT FAILURE
and deploy says unable to find fog/kernel/bzimage
Tom, have updated to 1257 and now I am unable to deploy or register new hosts
Yeah, this is where the host CSV import comes in handy to migrate hosts. you could even export the inventory SQL table and import that into 0.33 aswell
Interesting. Will have to do a few tests myself on this one.
Wouldn’t say it was large but have 600+ PC/laptop network, as always questions are welcome. What may be a good start is if you said more about your network/setup and plans
Whilst I think it would be good for deploy date, that still leaves the issue of having to find what image version you deployed. Of course maybe each deploy date could have the image version with it.
For this (and other benefits) I have bginfo installed (connected to sql, and then MS Access for reporting) and have a reg key that bginfo picks up. The reg key gets updated to corresponde with the fog image it will become once uploaded
Nice, looking forward to this location addition, I may well be making good use of it in the future
Yes I have had a portable FOG install on a laptop before. It worked really well.
Hi all,
What are you using to test 0.33b release?
For me its Ubuntu Server 12.04
I can’t answer that question but for those reading this option one from above is the easiest. Just need a layer 3 switch to do the vlan routeing.
Also to answer Yusuf’s question ( I know it was long ago) I simply gave it all the ip settings of the vlan the server was in. And let the switches do the rest
okay here’s what I would do, (note I am not sure how in-depth to go with the instructions for you but this is a very very basic outline and i’m not fully sure of your needs/what you have/and what you could possibly acquire)
