@tom-elliott strangley my fog clients all reported Middleware::Response ERROR: so I reset encryption on my ‘all hosts’ group. Not sure if there was something else I needed/should have done but that sorted it.

@tom-elliott that was quick! Upgrade seemed to go through fine.

upgrading from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1 fails at backup
Hi,
when I try to upgrade to 1.5.1 it fails at the database backup
(running Debian 8.10 & FOG 1.5.0)- Setting up Apache virtual host (no SSL)…OK
sed: can’t read /etc/php/5/fpm/pool.d/www.conf: No such file or directory - Starting and checking status of web services…OK
- Changing permissions on apache log files…OK
- Backing up database…Failed!,
- Setting up Apache virtual host (no SSL)…OK

RE: FOG 1.5.0 RC 13 and FOG Client v0.11.14 Released
@tom-elliott cool, not sure if it’s just me/my setup but since moving to rc12/13 the server UI seems more responsive

RE: FOG 1.5.0 RC 13 and FOG Client v0.11.14 Released
Tom, just upgraded (switched from working to dev) and the FOG_CLIENT_VERSION is still defined as 0.11.13 in system.class.php

RE: Would it be possible to get another field on the host page.
@sebastian-roth true we could do that and have gained a field back for other use like asset tags that @Wayne-Workman mentioned but mostly because it stops information from being stored wrongly. (I know… how hard could it be to put site/room into one field.) I’ll have another think about merging them.
-
RE: Would it be possible to get another field on the host page.
Good question. I’m not sure to be honest, the reason I set the current ones the way I do is mostly for the inventry CSV that goes to our finance team during audit. (I know where the machines are just from the hostname)
I also use the primary user field if a device is on loan, I think altogether this has us covered. (Admittedly I don’t have an urgent requirement for another ‘other tag’ field just yet but thought I would request it in case the need arises.
What did you use the field for, if I can ask?

Would it be possible to get another field on the host page.
Hi,
Would it be possible to get another field (Other tag 3) on the host page/inventry table?
As I work a cross a growing Multi Academy Trust I currently use Other Tag 1 for the ‘Site/School’ and ‘Other Tag 2’ for the Location/Room.
It would be nice to have another blank field, just a thought. (Not sure how many people actually make use of the other tag fields)
Thanks

Unable to export reports, Latest Working Branch Version: 16
Server
- FOG Version: Latest Working Branch Version: 16
- OS: Debian 8.7
Description
Hi, since updating to the latest working branch I can’t seem to export reports. The login prompt comes up but after inputting credentials nothing happens.
Is anyone else running the same version and can confirm this?

RE: 1.5.0 RC1 ver 6 unable to go into a host details, server stops responding
@Tom-Elliott thanks just updated, I have upped the memory limit in General Settings (is that what you mean?) The user tracking is displaying now, will have to look at truncating the image log when I get into the office (on mobile atm)

RE: 1.5.0 RC1 ver 6 unable to go into a host details, server stops responding
@Tom-Elliott thanks Tom, definitely feels a lot quicker now when going through host management stuff.
Just went through some Reports etc, and the inventry report is 100 times better now. Although Imaging Log & user tracking return the same error I had before with the http 500
Also in the log viewer I cant select any log files
At the moment I only have the one production install, will see if I can spin up another fresh FOG VM to help test more

RE: 1.5.0 RC1 ver 6 unable to go into a host details, server stops responding
I have removed the access control plugin (although no restrictions applied to my account) and no longer have an issue accessing a hosts management page.
However loading the host list/ going into a hosts management page takes a long time, anything i can check/do to speed this up?

1.5.0 RC1 ver 6 unable to go into a host details, server stops responding
Server
- FOG Version: 1.5.0 RC1 (working branch) version 6
- OS: Debian 8
Description
Having updated to the latest working branch I am now able to display all hosts via Hosts -> List All Hosts (previously not working for me on 1.5.0 RC1) (however it does take a long time to load the list when compared to running FOG 1.4, I only have under 600 hosts). Now I am having issues when I click on any host in the list, the web page returns ‘fog-server is currently unable to handle this request …HTTP ERROR 500’
Also in Configuration -> FOG Log Viewer -> File the drop down is now blank

RE: Working Tree
@Tom-Elliott same issue, loading host list or running INventry report seems to lock up the server for a few minutes.
In terms of hosts I have less then 600 to report on
This morning I was in a hurry for a report so had to roll back the VM snapshot.
