      Server
      • FOG Version: 1.5.0 RC1 (working branch) version 6
      • OS: Debian 8
      Description

Having updated to the latest working branch I am now able to display all hosts via Hosts -> List All Hosts (previously not working for me on 1.5.0 RC1) (however it does take a long time to load the list when compared to running FOG 1.4, I only have under 600 hosts). Now I am having issues when I click on any host in the list, the web page returns ‘fog-server is currently unable to handle this request …HTTP ERROR 500’

Also in Configuration -> FOG Log Viewer -> File the drop down is now blank

I have removed the access control plugin (although no restrictions applied to my account) and no longer have an issue accessing a hosts management page.

However loading the host list/ going into a hosts management page takes a long time, anything i can check/do to speed this up?

Mind giving a shot updating again? You should notice a significant speed increase and a lot less memory usage.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Tom-Elliott thanks Tom, definitely feels a lot quicker now when going through host management stuff.

Just went through some Reports etc, and the inventry report is 100 times better now. Although Imaging Log & user tracking return the same error I had before with the http 500

Also in the log viewer I cant select any log files

At the moment I only have the one production install, will see if I can spin up another fresh FOG VM to help test more

Please update memory usage for the Imaging Log/User Tracking (or truncate the tables though you would lose information).

Please update working branch again to get log files back, sorry about missing it. Had to clean up a bunch in the API side and this was one of those cleanups. (Just an oversight, but partially intended while trying to debug slowness)

@Tom-Elliott thanks just updated, I have upped the memory limit in General Settings (is that what you mean?) The user tracking is displaying now, will have to look at truncating the image log when I get into the office (on mobile atm)
