update again on the dev-branch
see: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/9856/current-dev-branch-unable-to-search-syntaxerror
@Tom-Elliott no worries, just checking.
thanks again
@Tom-Elliott amazing thanks, now working
Not sure if you meant it, but now displays version as RC2 and not RC3
Unable to search on host management and tasks pages etc, error: Search failedSyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0
I use a dummy image to replicate drivers and all items/folders/subfolders sync.
I donāt have my nodes anymore but last time I checked i didnāt think post download scripts synced between nodes @Wayne-Workman ?
Thanks Wayne, I do have similar groups for my hosts.
What i meant was a way to group snapins. (If you have used PDQ, where you can put packages into folders)
Take one of my primary schools, it uses 16 or so apps that are all from 2simple. I was after a way to put them all under a group/heading on the snapins page called 2simple.
I have them assigned to the Primary IT Suite Host Group. But i was think more of a way to have the snapins page cleaner instead of one big list.
Just started using/testing snapins myself and being able to see the host names is definitely a good idea.
@Tom-Elliott should have said, itās with both
FOG Imaging Log displays in web correctly but exports as a blank document
Have a feeling this may have been the same for me when on FOG Version 1.3.5
no, when you upgrade to git trunk you will be on the master branch which is at 1.3.5
to get to 1.4.0 RC1 you would have to checkout the dev-branch
git checkout dev-branch
cd bin
./installfog.sh
Would it be possible to create groups for snapins,
@oraniko have you installed the FOG Client Service?
If so, is the service running?
do not fill in legacy password, also do not put the domain in the username field
yes, just to display hosts that have printers & what printers they have assigned to them
Iām not looking for a āliveā report of what printers they do have connected
Hi,
Can we get a report to list hosts that have printers assigned (and which printers)
Thanks
Tom-Elliott said in ZSTD Compression:
@loosus456 My base images with all software had a disk usage of 48gb at itās largest, but that was EVERYTHING I could put on. My āaverageā was about 25gb.
I use a single win7 image at my place (nearly all software etc.), itās just under 30gb. Will make some time to do some tests
just installed 1.3.5 RC3, seems to report in fog log as 1.3.5-RC-2 still with an error
08/02/2017 21:58 Client-Info Server Version: 1.3.5-RC-2
08/02/2017 21:58 Middleware::Response ERROR: Unable to get subsection

Considering purchasing Lenovo S510ās and canāt see it being an issue, just thought I would ask if anyone has imaged these before?
plan to use the driver pack from Lenovo http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/downloads/ds112944
Client doesnāt seem to auto update (lab with two hosts)

@Tom-Elliott thanks, will re-pull later.
