Uploading an image to FOG will not harm the computer being ‘captured’. All data will still be intact. Just make sure the image type is Re-sizable so that FOG can handle the change is storage size.

@VijayBomble This thread is extremely old and I have no idea what your particular problem is. based on the message of “on this switch it works, but that one it doesn’t” leads me to think a configuration issue on the switch that’s not working. There’s not anything that I can do to figure out what the problem is.

That is clearified in the wiki mentioned in the 1st post.

It’s a non-connector at that point.

Which is why the attempts to install/update schema fails. There isn’t anything on the distant end running. The link between webserver and mysqlnd is operating
so it presents the screen.

Hey Tom, Thanks for all your work on fog btw. I was just updating the database on my own directly through the console.[S] I’m not sure how to use the schema update. I did a quick search and didnt come up with anything.[/S]

I guess i should also ask if you are working on adding LDAP support for users to log in?

edit: So i just had a quick peek at the schemaupdater php file and realized how to use it. I’m still not clear as to why the direct database editing didnt work but i’ll take what i can get.
