      Should be fixed in current. I’m no longer flushing all the output.

      It appears this was Hanz’s fault. He had snapshots and what not and it broke the upload process.

      @Tom-Elliott Didn’t have “join domain after image task” checked under host, and apparently didn’t allow enough reboots ( 2 by fogservice) for it to re-domain itself with new name. **Also had to make sure the gpo package (which I use to push client) was NOT set to “uninstall package when no longer managed”.

      @Hanz inits do not rely on the fog client (hostname changer, printer manager, etc…) for booting the host. While it is possible to load ipxe https it is not enforced nor would I recommend it either.

      I don’t know what issues you were having or why but if you rebooted the host after re running the installer the only guess I would have is the inits were not finished downloading when the host was trying to use the files.

      For now I’m going to solve this thread as I’m fairly sure it is fixed after running the installer.

      @KKTwenty101 I finally got this to work by updating the bios on my marvel/yukon nic machines.
      PXE took off immediately afterwards. Just an option to try.

      @Tom-Elliott Ok so I understand the image replication wierdness…let me ask about the snapin replication. I’m getting

      * Found Snapin to transfer to 5 group(s) [11-16-15 3:20:27 pm] | Snapin name: Essentials Install [11-16-15 3:20:27 pm] * Starting Sync Actions mirror: Access failed: 550 Failed to change directory. (/opt/fog/snapins/MSEInstall.exe)

      in error log on server, and this one node seems to be copying the actual snapin “MSEInstall.exe” as a directory as shown below.

      cd[bcs@ramage ~]$ cd /opt/fog/snapins SVN 5374 [bcs@ramage snapins]$ ls -la total 1324256 drwxrwxrwx 5 root root 4096 Nov 16 15:20 . drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Nov 6 10:30 .. drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Nov 6 10:29 CA drwxr-xr-x 2 fog fog 4096 Nov 16 15:22 MSEInstall.exe -rwxr-xr-x 1 fog fog 677099526 Nov 6 13:05 OfficeUninstall.exe -rwxr-xr-x 1 fog fog 6144 Nov 6 13:05 Repin.exe -rwxr-xr-x 1 fog fog 678899577 Nov 6 13:04 setup_silent.exe drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Nov 6 10:29 ssl

      We had a minor issue with some embedded iPXE script recently. I wonder if this might have caused the hang. Although on most machines it just went straight back to the BIOS without loading default.ipxe… Or it was a corrupted download. Either way thanks for letting us know.

      I’ve updated the code base to urlencode the passwords and decode them once in the FTP class. I don’t know if it will fix the issue at hand, but it’s worth a shot.

      @Tom-Elliott Almost there actually…The errors mentioned are no longer present; however all nodes show options like server (ie. Multicast,Image/Snapin Replication etc.) and all present “no data to read” when chosen.

      Thanks for the hard work, I’ve mentioned it before, but I feel it needs said again. I really appreciate your help.

      This apparently has to do with the virbr0 interface setup by default with Fedora 22…After disabling with the following:

      virsh net-destroy default
      virsh net-autostart default
      virsh net-undefine default

      and then reconfiguring the settings at /opt/fog/.fogsettings…The installer works correctly and the correct subnet mask is defined.

      @Hanz Glad you got it fixed.

      For others future reference, This command:
      SELECT hostID from hosts WHERE hostID NOT IN (SELECT hmHostID FROM hostMAC WHERE hmPrimary=1);

      can be changed into a command to delete all that it returns by simply changing select to delete like this:

      DELETE hostID from hosts WHERE hostID NOT IN (SELECT hmHostID FROM hostMAC WHERE hmPrimary=1);

      What version of FOG and Ubuntu are you using? Did you recently update either of them?
