@Wayne-Workman
I am out of the office right now! But when I get in tomorrow I will run some tests! I do not think this is the problem however because my image deployment does start (partclone starts) and it gets about 1.7 GB through before fails… I will verify tomorrow though! I think it may have something to do with the fog nodes not picking up the “check disk disabled” option enabled on the server?

Okay, I rebooted all of the FOG Nodes and the Server. The database connection error went away!
Since I cant upload images to this forum, I took the time to type this all out!
I still cant deploy images though. The error i get when i am imaging is something like:

RE: FOG Server Failed to update: Installing now everything is updated ........Failed
@Tom-Elliott So, I reran thew installer after the dpkg command finished. FOG sucessfully updated! Now, the nodes are not able to establish a database connection?? Should I rerun the installer on the nodes? The images I am trying to deploy are failing

@Tom-Elliott We are not behind a proxy! Where exactly are the error logs? I did not see a folder called "“error_logs” in /bin/

Description
NOTE : This is not a major problem for me, but it is a FOG Problem
Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of imaging 450 laptops (HP Stream 11 G3s) My FOG setup consists of 1 Master and 6 Storage Nodes. In FOG’s Web GUI, under “Storage Management”, I set the Master’s “Max Clients” to 0 in order to keep the Web Server / PXE booting quick! I also have a group of 32 USB to Ethernet adapters in FOG’s “Group Management” that i use to quickly deploy my image to all 28 computers at a time.
Occasionally, (about 1 in every 7 or 8 computers) a laptop tries to associate itself with the Master server and because i have the Master set to handle 0 exactly clients, the laptop goes into the waiting state… “There are 0 in front of me… etc…” I dont know if this is a bug but I could definitely see this being an issue in a large environment.
I was able to find a work around… I went to “Task Management” and “Force Task to Start”. Another interesting thing is that when i do this FOG’s Web GUI says it is now associated with one of the 6 Storage Nodes. But on the HP Stream, it shows it is pulling the image from the Master.
Any Ideas? Thanks for your time!

Hmmnn, OK, I am going to clean my DB now and restore my “audit mode reference image” to see what the FOG Client is doing. I will keep you postedType 'help;' or '\h' for help. RE: FOG Client. Authentication ERROR: Could not get security token
I installed the latest FOG client 0.11.7 on my image. However, I am still having problems authenticating.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks -
RE: FOG Client. Authentication ERROR: Could not get security token
@Joe-Schmitt “In general we recommend installing the client IN the image, as the tokens are automatically reset when an imaging task is performed. However, you should never have to continuously reset encryption data, only when you manually install / uninstall the client.”
So, I am assuming, installing the FOG Client via a batch script after the image process is considered “manually installing”?
I am going to put the FOG client on the image.

RE: FOG Registration Error. Hostname with that name already exists
@Wayne-Workman @Tom-Elliott It renamed and started working properly after i reset encryption data. However, I have had to do that every time i tried to rename a HP Stream after a image or a fresh install of windows. Other models work fine and rename right away.

RE: FOG Registration Error. Hostname with that name already exists
@Wayne-Workman OK, So I have created a new image and installed the FOG Client from a batch file after imaging. I am still getting…
Response #!istThis is an HP Stream 11. It is registered in FOG with its WiFi MAC Address.
Any Ideas on how to resolve this problem?
