@Sebastian-Roth said in FOG 1.4.2 TFTP Open Timeout:

@cassie_280 There is one step in the installer where it tells you to go to the web interface. This is not the end. You need to hit enter after that to proceed. Not to sound rude just wanted to make sure…

I don’t know how many times I’ve reached that step and when to copy the url and hit ctrl-c to copy the url, which then aborted the install. So it does create a botched install. It does happen.

If others of the same model work, but only some have issues, it could be a hardware issue. You could try updating the firmware, or try swapping the HDD with one from a working system and seeing if that makes a difference or not.

The master that the nodes were looking at needed the bind-address setting to be commented.

Once commented, restarted mysql and all was well.

Turns out that my issue was as FTP based. I had mismatched credentials in my Main Server that was also causing my images to get stuck in the /images/dev folder. Once I solved this issue, the nodes worked perfectly.

      Thanks so much!
