Can I just run the installer again on top of the current installation with the same commands?

RE: FOG 1.4.2 TFTP Open Timeout
My tftpboot folder is empty, which is weird. XD Does this mean that my FOG installation didn’t work properly?

RE: FOG 1.4.2 TFTP Open Timeout
So I’ve been working with the guy that manages our sophos box and he made a few changes and it looks like we’ve made some progress (we had a global rule, but now we have a rule specific to our site) We are now getting past the TFTP timeout error, but I am receiving the following:
I took another packet capture which I will include below. I’ll also include the command that I used. Could this be any issue with the undionly.kpxe setting? He says that he doesn’t have the pxelinux.0 setting in sophos any more.

Here is the output from the commands. I will work on getting the pcap file.

FOG 1.4.2 TFTP Open Timeout
I recently installed a new FOG server (1.4.2). And I am running into a TFTP open timeout error. I am using Sophos for DCHP, and I can see when the PXE boot starts that the client gets an IP, and default gateway etc, so it looks to me like DHCP is working.
After that, I get a TFTP message that thinks for a while, and then it says “TFPT open timeout”
I have the 66 setting as the FOG server IP and 67 is set to undionly.kpxe is this correct?
I am running ubuntu 16 and I have the firewall disabled.

Computer Won't Image
I have a HP Probook 645 that I am trying to image. Once it resisters with FOG it runs through everything and gets to the point where it should start imaging, but it just restarts and if I PXE boot it just goes back to the main FOG screen. I have approximately 300 of these computers, and I only have this issue on a few of them. I have tried wiping the hard drives to see if that would make a difference but it doesn’t.
Here’s the screen before it restarts. Thanks!

Disk Information for Storage node is not Working.
Re: Storage node testing and disk information not displayed
Well, here I am again. I had to reinstall FOG because we ran out of storage on the server that we initially installed it on. Anyway, this time around I didn’t change anything. I didn’t add a new password to my database and I didn’t change the su password (which was my problem last time) I have tried going back over this topic and nothing seems to be working. I commented out the bind address, I edited the config file, and I tried flushing msql permissions. I can’t seem to get the disk information to appear.
I’m running Ubuntu 14.4 and FOG 1.2
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Transfer Images from 0.32 to fresh 1.2.0 - 1.2.0 can't see images
@Wayne-Workman That’s what my problem was. I changed my su password. I didn’t realize that affected the FTP credentials. Once I changed the other locations to match, everything worked perfectly. Thank You!

RE: No Username and Password Populated After Storage Node Install
Turns out that my issue was as FTP based. I had mismatched credentials in my Main Server that was also causing my images to get stuck in the /images/dev folder. Once I solved this issue, the nodes worked perfectly.
Thanks so much!

RE: No Username and Password Populated After Storage Node Install
@Wayne-Workman I have reinstalled Ubuntu from scratch (we used a snapshot before) and reinstalled FOG. I have noticed that I have issues where the images I am uploading are being saved as /image/dev/MAC Address] Which probably explains the other forum I have open where my images won’t deploy. I remember seeing the same issue in my previous install, I just didn’t understand what was happening. I can fix this issue by moving the file and renaming it, but I need a permanent fix, so I don’t have to do this for every image.
I have tried running chown and chmod commands for the /images folder and I still haven’t had any luck. Do you think these problems may all be related? Possibly something being messed up with my FTP credentials or something?

RE: No Username and Password Populated After Storage Node Install
@Wayne-Workman I have re-run the installer several times on my storage node, I have not on my main FOG server.

RE: No Username and Password Populated After Storage Node Install
@Tom-Elliott What version of FOG and OS would you recommend?

RE: Transfer Images from 0.32 to fresh 1.2.0 - 1.2.0 can't see images
@Wayne-Workman I do have two FOG servers, but the old one is shut down, so I’m positive that’s not the one I’m using. I’m using FOG version 1.2.0

The only password I see here is the one for mysql. Is something wrong here?

RE: No Username and Password Populated After Storage Node Install
I’m not trying to log into my storage node. I’m trying to find the credentials so I can add the node to my main FOG server. I have attempted this on 2 virtual machines, and I even reinstalled Ubuntu and attempted these installations again, and it still won’t populate.

RE: No Username and Password Populated After Storage Node Install
This is my first install on this machine. Is there a config file that I can pull these credentials from?

No Username and Password Populated After Storage Node Install
When I install my storage node I go through all of the questions, and its runs through the installation fine, but at the final screen it doesn’t populate credentials. Does anyone have any insight to why this is?
