Turns out that my issue was as FTP based. I had mismatched credentials in my Main Server that was also causing my images to get stuck in the /images/dev folder. Once I solved this issue, the nodes worked perfectly.
Thanks so much!

@Wayne-Workman That’s what my problem was. I changed my su password. I didn’t realize that affected the FTP credentials. Once I changed the other locations to match, everything worked perfectly. Thank You!
Can I just run the installer again on top of the current installation with the same commands?
My tftpboot folder is empty, which is weird. XD Does this mean that my FOG installation didn’t work properly?
So I’ve been working with the guy that manages our sophos box and he made a few changes and it looks like we’ve made some progress (we had a global rule, but now we have a rule specific to our site) We are now getting past the TFTP timeout error, but I am receiving the following:
I took another packet capture which I will include below. I’ll also include the command that I used. Could this be any issue with the undionly.kpxe setting? He says that he doesn’t have the pxelinux.0 setting in sophos any more.
Here is the output from the commands. I will work on getting the pcap file.
I recently installed a new FOG server (1.4.2). And I am running into a TFTP open timeout error. I am using Sophos for DCHP, and I can see when the PXE boot starts that the client gets an IP, and default gateway etc, so it looks to me like DHCP is working.
After that, I get a TFTP message that thinks for a while, and then it says “TFPT open timeout”
I have the 66 setting as the FOG server IP and 67 is set to undionly.kpxe is this correct?
I am running ubuntu 16 and I have the firewall disabled.
I have a HP Probook 645 that I am trying to image. Once it resisters with FOG it runs through everything and gets to the point where it should start imaging, but it just restarts and if I PXE boot it just goes back to the main FOG screen. I have approximately 300 of these computers, and I only have this issue on a few of them. I have tried wiping the hard drives to see if that would make a difference but it doesn’t.
Here’s the screen before it restarts. Thanks!
Re: Storage node testing and disk information not displayed
Well, here I am again. I had to reinstall FOG because we ran out of storage on the server that we initially installed it on. Anyway, this time around I didn’t change anything. I didn’t add a new password to my database and I didn’t change the su password (which was my problem last time) I have tried going back over this topic and nothing seems to be working. I commented out the bind address, I edited the config file, and I tried flushing msql permissions. I can’t seem to get the disk information to appear.
I’m running Ubuntu 14.4 and FOG 1.2
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
