Image upload & deploy taking a long time
Server
- FOG Version: 1.4.4
- OS: Debian 7
Client
- Service Version:
- OS: Win10 Pro 64bit
Description
When I am uploading or deploying an image it takes 4-5 hours. In image management I have it set to single disk - resizable, the hard drive is a 500GB hard drive but that has never changed for our machines. Imaging only use to take 10-15 min. during the imaging process on the device it is showing the "Device size: 499.0 GB, Space in use 499.0 GB but it only has an OS and windows office installed on it. Thoughts…

RE: Fog 1.2.0 upgrade to 1.4.4 Failed
that worked, thanks everyone for the troubleshooting.

RE: Fog 1.2.0 upgrade to 1.4.4 Failed
looks like the download/installs it needed to do it could verify signature of the packages, so it skipped. when I ran the one package by it self I had to tell it to install anyway. Is there a way for me to have it default ignore that?

RE: Fog 1.2.0 upgrade to 1.4.4 Failed
It looks to have downloaded and installed, didn’t throw any errors at me.

RE: Fog 1.2.0 upgrade to 1.4.4 Failed
Yes, and my server does have access to the internet, that is how I was able to download the .tar.

RE: Fog 1.2.0 upgrade to 1.4.4 Failed
I downloaded the .tar, extracted it and installed it, I didn’t use GIT. The server does have internet access.

Description
I am trying to update from Fog 1.2.0 to 1.4.4, I was trying to do the update old school way by running “sudo ./installfog.sh”. There were parts of the install that failed php5 items, and the overall installed failed, thoughts?!

RE: Client shows uploading but server says no image
Your the best…it is now uploading the image to the fog server but it still wants to put it in the /images/dev folder…thoughts, if nothing else I can always rename and move it.

RE: Client shows uploading but server says no image
that is an excellent question…I don’t know, what should it be? Sorry if I seem a bit “blonde”, been a bad sys admin day. I don’t have any images labeled default, the only thing I have labeled/listed "default is the Storage Group

RE: Client shows uploading but server says no image
tanks Junk that is good to know, I tried to upload another image like Driver had asked and the PC is flashing this error at me. The PC was able to register just fine. Would you like me to start a different thread for this?
