#####################################################################

FOG now has everything it needs to setup your server, but please
understand that this script will overwrite any setting you may
have setup for services like DHCP, apache, pxe, tftp, and NFS.

It is not recommended that you install this on a production system
as this script modifies many of your system settings.

This script should be run by the root user on Redhat or with sudo on Ubuntu.

** Notice ** Redhat users will need to disable SELinux and iptables in
order to use FOG
Please see our wiki for more information at http://www.fogproject.org/wiki

Here are the settings FOG will use:
Base Linux: Debian
Detected Linux Distribution: Ubuntu
Installation Type: Normal Server
Server IP Address: 10.26.3.9
DHCP router Address: 10.26.1.1
DHCP DNS Address: 10.26.1.15
Interface: eth0
Using FOG DHCP: 0
Internationalization: 0
Donate: 0

DHCP will NOT be setup but you must setup your
current DHCP server to use FOG for PXE services.

On a Linux DHCP server you must set:
next-server

On a Windows DHCP server you must set:
option 066 & 067

Option 066 is the IP of the FOG Server: (e.g. 10.26.3.9)
Option 067 is the undionly.kpxe file: (e.g. undionly.kpxe)

The basic commands for uninstalling apache2 didn’t work so this is what I ended up on

sudo apt-get --purge remove apache2 apache2.2-common
sudo apt-get --purge remove apache2.2-common
sudo apt-get install apache2 apache2-mpm-prefork apache2.2-common libapache2-mod-php5 php5

After doing that it was back to 0.32, so I ran the fog installer again and it worked without error, now on 1.2 with database and images intact! Hurray!

I believe I’m having the same issue as the OP (“Setting up and starting Apache Web Server…Failed!” however mine has “(2)” at the end). I was trying to use the same solution but I have CentOS 6 and “sudo yum --purge remove apache2 apache2.2-common” does not work. Sorry I’m a noob with Lunix.

FOG Server OS: CentOS 7
FOG Version: FOG 1.2.0

Hope that helps!

Edit: FYI this will Uninstall apache2. You will then need to re-install apache2 using the fog install script.

Ok I uninstalled apache2 then ran the fog install script again. Failed at the same spot. Then I tried uninstalling apache2, php, MySQL, and HTTPD. Ran the fog installer again. Failed again in same spot.

On a Linux DHCP server you must set:
next-server

Just tried reinstalling CentOS 6.6 and it gave the same error. I’m going to try CentOS 7 later today when I have more time.
