Starting a donation project for FOG and wanting to gauge general interest

Hi everyone!
FOG has been a part of my IT career for a long time now and I’d like to give back to the community.
Here soon a designer buddy and I will be designing t-shirts for you guys to purchase and we’re going to take the profits from these t-shirts and donate it back to the FOG project. We’re using a site called Booster to sell the shirts and we’ll be doing a monthly rotation on shirts.
I just wanted to see what you guys thought about this and if you’d be into it.

I would also of course buy one. I’d want the new official FOG logo to be somewhere on it though. Or even the fog cloud from the top left of the fog web interface (one without the version in it).
Also, the link to the purchase should probably be made prominent on the forums & wiki.

My problem is that I we are a school district. Thus I cant donate. I also cant use school funds to buy shirts. I need a invoice. I wish there was a way to get an invoice from FOG for development or support. Ive asked but the amazing people at FOG dont feel the need to invoice me. Thus i use this amazing product and do not have a way to help fund it.

THEMVC - I have seen you a few time over on Reddit, promoting FOG with all the MDT pushers. I added to a few of your comments the other day. Keep at it!!. btw TitsMcgeeHC was my reddit name. Is there a link to check out the Merc yet?

@Roger-Saffle Documentation is one way. Helping others in the forums is another. I spend about 15 minutes in the mornings and 5 or 10 minutes at lunch during weekdays reviewing new posts to see what I know enough about to help with. Others could do the same. Of course I put a lot more time in during evenings and weekends.

MDT/WDS is so overpushed in /r/sysadmin there has to be the voice of reason. I see people running FOG over there and wanting to move to MDT and a lot of times they have no clue about their FOG server. They’ll be running .32 and not know what they’re missing out on. Once I show them the light, then they realize that there’s no reason to leave FOG.
Not yet, me and my buddy are making a few to start. We’ve been asked to have the OG FOG logo and the FOG clound among the first out, so once we get markups I’ll post them here.

@THEMCV Will be interesting to see, can’t wait. Good luck with it all. And yes /r/sysadmin is MDT heavy and most posts I read about people wanting to move away from FOG are usually running very old versions. In the one post where I was posting with you, I am currently still helping that person out. Have convinced him to stay with FOG, and while I am an expert with it, I am able to help him enough to get him up and running, showing him that keeping FOG was an advantage. It is a great product!
