          please try to remove any information on the pc’s your trying to add to fog (manually or automatically from pxe boot) and try to automatically add from pxe boot menu… see if this helps to allow for the system to repopulate the info correctly. I had to restart my server a few times as well. (restarting tftpd and mysql)

          Just my .02$

            I have tried it and restarted a few time, Made sure the host don’t exist and check phpmyadmin to ensure it was not in the DB at all. Issue still there.

            When I enter the host in manually via the web portal, the boot menu does display the host registered but the Fog client still have invalid host issue in the log.

                        Is this a dual boot system? Why so many partitions?

                        It’s not a bad thing, just a bit odd to see 7 partitions.

                        I believe Thomas Rucker had a similar issue some time last year. His fix was documented.

                            It’s not a dual boot system. Actually is a preloaded Win 8.1 from Dell.

                            Why so many partitions?

                            I have:

                            “System partition” d1p5.img
                            “Data partition” d1p6.img
                            “Dell recovery partition” d1p7.img

                            Just for info when I get a new Dell laptop/desktop and I create “Basic image” it has 6 partitions or maybe I should put it this way …i have on fog server 6 image files (d1p1.img to d1p6.img) + d1.mbr + d1.original.swapuuids…

                                SVN 3374 released.

                                Nothing too too major, except the Awesomeness that is Junkhacker here. He found a way to essentially double download speeds from your normal setup as well as help significantly improve upload speeds.

                                            He switched from using gunzip to do the decompression to using pigz.
