I’m on Rhel 9 running apache 2.4. No error on any of the log file.

@TaTa FOG does not do SSO though you are invited to make it happen. Tell your company to get involved in this open source project, put one developer on this for a few weeks. 🙂

@TaTa The default NFS in FOG is still version 3 which has no concept of user authentication/authorization. Sure you can try to lock things down a bit by setting access rights on the FOG server filesystem.

But if you want to go beyond that you will need to look into NFSv4 which is not implemented yet: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/14791/feature-request-for-fog-1-6-x-configure-image-capture-to-use-nfsv4-instead-of-nfsv3

You can also redown load it from the github site and then run the files command on that file right away. You should also see what I discussed in my last post.

Thanks all. You are right. LDAP uses plain text password. I had ‘&’ symbol in the password and that breaks it. I set up a test RHEL server and was able to make it work by removing ‘&’ symbol. My “controlled” server however is till not working. No error in /var/log/php-fpm/www-error.log. Apache detected when I tried to login. Re-installing -php-ldap but no go. Does anyone know how to debug it? Thanks!

@Sebastian-Roth said in Issues after changing server IP:

Hint: I think the great changeIP script does not handle dnsmasq config changes as this is not a standard setup.

      Correct, it doesn’t.

@TaTa said in DNSMASQ 2.76-5 on Jessie:

Has anyone tried this version on Jessie?

Yes, but not from the stretch repository. We have documentation on how to compile it for Debian 8 here: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=ProxyDHCP_with_dnsmasq#Compiling_dnsmasq_2.76_if_you_need_uefi_support

In general, is it okay to use packages designed for Stretch on Jessie?

No idea. Try it on a test box. Worst thing that can happen is it doesn’t work, then you can come back here and let the world know. My personal advice though - don’t use Stretch packages on Jessie - just my 2 cents. They have two different names for a reason.

It was on Raid, so I changed to AHCI. No Joy, still get the same message.

By the way, we added the FOG server IP to the core swith as an IP helper. Do we need to added it to the floor switch as well?

      Thanks.
