Network is still the same. Fog Server was rebooted 3 or 4 weeks ago. No it isn’t virtualized.
Iperf result:
[ 4] local 172.30.40.25 port 5001 connected with 172.30.40.90 port 47665
[ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth
[ 4] 0.0-10.0 sec 1.09 GBytes 936 Mbits/sec
It is defently not the switch. The Fog Server is connected to the Core Switch, this one is contected with 1G Fiber and then there is a 8Port unmanaged switch (10/100/1000) and the there is my client.
BUt the Problem also occurs on diffrent diveces wich are contected to diffrent switches. So Network shouldn’t be the problem.
Also check the edited post above with the corrected test results.
There is no 10/100 Switch, i tested on the same cable. Device is a Lenovo t540p, but they had also higher speeds before.
Made a mistake, NFS test is only 34MB/s and 115MB/s.
Single Task, but Multicast is also slower. 800MB/min instead of 3GB/min.
Hi
Our Fog Server Tasks are prettey slow if you compare the speed we have right now with the speed we had about 2 months ago.
At that time we had about 4.5 to 5 GB/min. Now we only have 1.4GB/min.
It can’t be network or the Fog Hardware, because i get 133MB/s and 285MB/s, with a NFS test write i found in a diffrent thread. I also put down compression, but that didn’t change anything.
Im on SVN 3178.
Updated to latest SVN. Now the client isn’t there at all.
Downloading New FOG Client file…PHP Warning: Module ‘mysqlnd’ already loaded in Unknown on line 0

You can try downloading the file yourself by running
Installation will continue. Once complete you can
run the command:
wget -O /var/www/fog/client/FOGService.msi https://github.com/FOGProject/fog-client/releases/download//FOGService.msi
You have to truncate snapinTasks and snapinJobs, this will solve the problem.
It works! Thanks Tom!
One Question, in wich order will the snapins be installed?
Truncate on snapinTask and snapinJobs, still the task is stuck as queued under active tasks, there are no entries on active Snapin Tasks
Found something in the install log.
Downloading New FOG Client file PHP Warning: Module ‘mysqlnd’ already loaded in Unknown on line 0
OK
So I’m still testing the new client. Singel Snapin task works well, but the All Snapin task never starts. This has nothing to do with new client i think, had the Problem on the old as well.
So Fog Client is also updated now, but i still got the error 1326.
So i updatet to latest SVN with the updated new client. The Problem with the 0 Bytes happend again, and my host updatet to the new version of the client, wich obviously didn’t work.
I had to manual install the client again, because the one on the host was broken. There should be a check before update, if the client on the server is more than 0 Bytes.
I deleted the MAC from the DB now i were able to add the host, but the white page still appears.
Updated to latest SVN. Host was gone again, tried to add again. Now i always get a white page when i cklick on add. Had this before, the host was added anyway, but now it doesn’t add it at all…

So, i tried the solution form Tom wich he posted here --> http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/new-client-0-bytes.12625/
I re entered the password under Fog Settings and changed the password in hosts setings. I also checked the new client check box. But log file still says error 1326.
Also the Host was “deleted” form the host list after changing the password. I hit the back button so i could, “restore” it. The funny thing is that i had to reenter the MAC and activate the Services and hit update.
Host was in the list again and also showed the last download task. So it wasn’t really gone…
Thanks for the help.
I have installed the client, but the AD join doesn’t work. Error Code 1326. DO I have to activate AES? This would be pretty bad, because we also nedd the old client to work.
Also the log file looks pretty nice in Notepad++, but we don’t intall it on our clients and with the indows notepad it is hard to read.
Looks like it is working now, i will download the client for testing.
