@Tom-Elliott
Is this now fixed on one of the new releases?

RE: Host Registration Service deactivation has no effect
It’s the WiFi MAC
The problem is that after the image process the client service is registering the MAC and saves it before the hostname is changed. So the MAC is stored to the wrong client.
For example the hostname of the image client ist LWA-Master, now after the computer is imaged, not with fog, the service is registering the MAC to the LWA-Master. But the real name of the client is LWA-whatever.
This problem only occurs with the notebooks we’re cloning with clonezilla USB-Sticks and use FOG only for hostname change and AD joining.

Host Registration Service deactivation has no effect
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3.0
- OS: Debian 8
Client
- Service Version: 0.11.7
- OS: Win 7
Description
Hi
We have a Problem, that FOG is somehow registering wrong MAC addresses on our Notebooks. Because we don’t need the Host Registration service anyways, I have disabled it systemwide. But there are still new MAC addresses reported.

RE: [HELP WANTED] Client Internationalization
That’s not what I wanted to change.
This is what I thought would be the better translation:
-
RE: [HELP WANTED] Client Internationalization
In my opinion the german translation for “Postpone for” should be “Verschieben um”.

RE: User Tracker not working
ERROR 144 (HY000): Table ‘./fog/userTracking’ is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed
Seems to be the issue, how can I fix that?

RE: Host Management and Image Management tanking forever to load
Hi Tom
Yes it is the SVN Revision, we’ve got 830 Hosts and 15 Images.
My first guess was that it takes so long because there are so many hosts, but then the image tab should be loaded much faster. Where can I see the FTP File Size option, could find where this can be set on or off.
edit:
So i’ve found the option and if I turn in off the image tab is loaded immediately. So i guess the long loading times on the host tab is just due to the number of hosts, right?

Host Management and Image Management tanking forever to load
Server
- FOG Version: 5956
- OS: Debian 8.3
Description
So i started working again and the first thing i did was checking if FOG was working properly. Now everything is working just fine. There is only one little Problem, if i click on the Host Management or the Image Management it takes almost 10 seconds to load them. Thanks for the help.

Can't delete Host from Group
Hi
I just noticed that i can’t delete a host from a group. If i edit the group an go to Membership and click on remove selected Hosts nothing happens.
-
RE: Restore database from backup
Try to install it manually:
apt-get install php5-json
and then try to install fog again.

RE: Better OU Management
Great! Can i now hit enter after the pipe? By the way, it would make more sence if the name would be something diffrent then Default OU. Active Directory OUs for example.
-
RE: Better OU Management
Default OU doesn’t really help here. I just don’t like the way you have to edit the OUs in the Settings. As ch3i mentioned, a textbox instead of a field with one line would be a massive improvement.
-
Better OU Management
Hi
It would be really nice if the management of the OUs in the Fog Settings would be a little more practical. At the moment i need to copy paste the field in to Notepad and copy it back after editing. Don’t know if this is even possible.
Not a really important feature, but one that would make Fog easier to use. -
