This has been resolved by Tom.

It was a php version issue he had me run
      rm -rf /etc/apache* /etc/php*
      apt-get purge ‘libphp’ ‘apache*’ ‘php*’

then reinstall and it worked perfectly.

@Wayne-Workman I think he had missing packages.

So I removed all the php packages and libapache-mod-php packages.

Then I re-ran the installer after removing the packages line from the /opt/fog/.fogsettings file.

once that was done all worked properly.

@Tom-Elliott said in Image upload error:

@Sebastian-Roth We found what the problem was.

Problem was the partition was not “shutdown” properly as Windows 10 allows for “fastbooting”

I found out the ntfs-3g driver can accept a cool parameter in hopes to fix this. Added this to the inits and uploaded. John has confirmed this works for Upload and the device still boots. Just waiting to hear back if a download works after all this.

Well now I’m super curious if it will solve the FastBooting issues I’ve seen and solved with other methods…

I found it and increase to 512 and is working fine. Thanks

I bumped my php config up to 2GB for the similar issue with inventory blank screens. Overkill, maybe, but the server has 12GB and is only for FOG.

I’ve readded the code that supposedly fixed this earlier. I’m hoping it can be put to bed, but my track record or something.

Found out, with John, and a teamviewer session, the Group display issue was occurring due to memory limit issues. Increased to 256 and things started working.

The printer issue was corrected for in 3788, but 3789 has been pushed so you can, once again, default default printers in a group setting as well.

Thank you John for pointing out the issues with Printers.
