@Tom-Elliott my apologies meetings all day today, probably tomorrow as well. I only have one school (15 miles away) with multicast enabled via router.

@Tom-Elliott I’ll try it out tomorrow, updating today

@Quazz That I didn’t do, but I 'll try it

RE: SVN 7088 Multicast not working...hanging at partclone. This did work before.
@Tom-Elliott Below is from multicast log
[04-05-16 1:41:23 pm] | 1 task found [04-05-16 1:41:23 pm] | Task (5) Multi-Cast Task is already running PID 6347 [04-05-16 1:41:33 pm] | 0 tasks to be cleaned [04-05-16 1:41:33 pm] | 1 task found [04-05-16 1:41:33 pm] | Task (5) Multi-Cast Task is already running PID 6347 [04-05-16 1:41:43 pm] | 0 tasks to be cleaned
This is from Service Master log
[04-05-16 1:35:29 pm] FOGMulticastManager fork()ed child process (1573). [04-05-16 1:35:29 pm] FOGMulticastManager child process (1573) is running. [04-05-16 1:35:29 pm] FOGImageReplicator fork()ed child process (1569). [04-05-16 1:35:29 pm] FOGTaskScheduler fork()ed child process (1572).
I also wanted to note that I have a multicast.log.udpcast.5 that is empty, along with the multicast.log
Tom has verified that regular multicast is working from server; however I have 4 additional (master nodes) at different locations seperated by vlans, but I got iphelper added to router, and have had this working at this location before.

@Sebastian-Roth I repeat deleting tasks from mysql and taskID =8 and then systemctl restart FOGMutlicastManager after each failure and before trying again.

SVN 7088 Multicast not working...hanging at partclone. This did work before.
Multicast is not working, I’m not exactly sure when it may have stopped, but it did work before, ruling out hardware issues.
When pxe booting I do see UDPCAST instead of the normal NFS so it’s trying. -
RE: Snapin stays under "Active Snapin Task" when cancelled and removed from "Active Tasks" SVN6949
@Tom-Elliott only snapin tasks I’ve done, shows “in process” after being cancelled
-
RE: Snapin stays under "Active Snapin Task" when cancelled and removed from "Active Tasks" SVN6949
@Tom-Elliott immediate is all I’ve tested so far

Snapin stays under "Active Snapin Task" when cancelled and removed from "Active Tasks" SVN6949
I was wondering why this was happening, it seems this list should be removed as well.

Can we get Snapin completion via pushbullet as well ?
It would be nice to get a msg when snapin completion occurs. Possibly selectable reports via pushbullet setup page ?

RE: SVN 6919 Snapin uploaded with wrong permissions
@Tom-Elliott sry to get ahead on the feature requests, I’ll start checking that section first. And I second the idea of at least an option to check that to make it generate one.
-
RE: SVN 6919 Snapin uploaded with wrong permissions
@Tom-Elliott maybe better idea to add option under snapin mgmt…if you try to task snapin, and then Wol, won’t work already taking host. WOL then snapin would, but hard to catch all computers before they boot to technically immediately deploy them.
Wayne beat me typing.

RE: Can I change the colors of the Tx/Rx graph?
@Wayne-Workman bolder the better, I say

RE: Can I change the colors of the Tx/Rx graph?
@moses and @Wayne-Workman, what colors should we decide on for graph colors, @Tom-Elliot has it updating on refresh, COMPLETELY random each time…should be set to something. I have to say I like the vivid colors, now that I can distinguish them…I have five nodes so blue was getting boring…LOL SVN 6923

RE: SVN 6919 Snapin uploaded with wrong permissions
@Tom-Elliott in hindsight, that does make sense about the waking, but if it was scheduled for immediate deployment could it be made to run WOL, or possibly allow double tasking a single host if one is WOL
-
SVN 6919 Snapin uploaded with wrong permissions
Snapins are being uploaded without at least execution privileges as I have to chmod the files manually in /opt/fog/snapins. Also, snapin deployment is not waking computers (didn’t create thread since I didn’t know if it was supposed to honestly)

RE: SVN 6815 + Snapins aren't seen in gui (snapin file exists) after upload
@Tom-Elliott nothing different per 6861. snapin acts as if it is initiated by client, but noithing happens, and return code is 0. I know this script works when run under SYSTEM if this is still the case.
snapin file exist drop down doesn’t coincide with sql database or /opt/fog/snapins folder. Is that what was “known” ?
-
RE: SVN 6815 + Snapins aren't seen in gui (snapin file exists) after upload
@Tom-Elliott it wil remove and add file appropriately(Delete/Add in gui) although without correct permissions in /opt/fog/snapins; however gui willl not show it under (snapin file exists).
If I try to add cmd /c to my newly created snapin I get this error in gui
A file to use for the snapin must be either uploaded or chosen from the already present list
VSFTP checked out and Index Of Shown under ftp://X.X.X.X
GUI is also showing old snapins that aren’t in directory or in database under same drop down box.
Really seems lika a GUI read issue somewhere…which dissallows further function of snapin.

RE: SVN 6849 client problems
@Tom-Elliott Thank you sir, I’m coming back in after a brief hiatus of updating…Let’s do this.
