@Joe-Gill make sure that both the server and node (via logviewer–>multicast show that multicast session is actually tasked…I’ve had to cancel both active multicast task and active tasks, along with restarting FOGMulticastManager on both server and node, after killing mysql (TASK=8). Restart multicast tasking and it should start right up. I’ve even done a travel node, and can swear to it working. The key is making sure the logviewer multicast from server and node, show same tasking.

RE: "Unable to get subsection" error with RC-4
@Tom-Elliott I will say that this issue appears generally after reverting from a newer versionI believe. I’ve had to do the group reset encryption.

I think this is what is happening
Could be wrong, but def an error
It will start from Server at office, but not at node, which is the log I was showing was multicast from node -
RE: SVN 8255 clients not showing the shutdown "pop-up" when reboot or shutdown scheduled.
@Tom-Elliott My apologies, this can be marked as solved. I was restarting fogservice to test for the popups for shutdown, and restart tasking; however restarting the fogservice doesn’t really reset the client like I thought. It requires that the client checks in on it’s normal time ( sleep service time) for the popups to appear.

RE: MultiCast
@Gary-Kulovics Just to clarify the same broadcast domain, the clients are behind the same router as the server itself. Also wondering what version you’re running…I’m currently running SVN 8525 and can verify that multicast is working with node at location and server behind different routers, but Ip forwarding has been setup to allow the multicast broadcast. So in short if they aren’t seperated by routers it should be working on 8525 at the least.

RE: SVN 8255 clients not showing the shutdown "pop-up" when reboot or shutdown scheduled.
@Joe-Schmitt since this was technically my machine, I’m also cached, like some, but not most users. Would that intensify this “issue”?

@Joe-Schmitt this still isn’t working I don’t belive. I’m not sure how to verify the user service is running.

SVN 8255 clients not showing the shutdown "pop-up" when reboot or shutdown scheduled.
This has been hit or miss lately and I was wondering if this was “under construction.” If not, I’d like to know how to debug this or where to look.
I’d like to add that I have disabled the tray icon via msi editor. If that matters.

SVN 8209 500 Error with page when attempting immediate WOL from Group Power management
I’m having an issue where individual power management seems to work ok (albeit without the nice pop-up informing users of impending shutdown). When trying to schedule an immediate WOL from Group power management I get Server 500 Error on page.
WOL does work if scheduled via Advaced tasking within group.

SVN 8195 after updating from 8105 created C:\program file
I was getting an error that this file was created and may cause issues, I was prompted to rename file, but chose to ignore and delete…followed by reboot. I’m assuming this had something to do with the new client 11 being installed. Lots of new, abnormal network activity as well from server.
