    Server
    • FOG Version: RC23 (6018? Tom custom build we’ll call it)
    • OS: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
    Client
    • Service Version: 0.11.5
    • OS: Win 10 Enterprise
    Description

If a new host reports through the client and shows up as a pending host, deleting the host adds it to the DB. Selecting approve or delete does the same action - registering the host in the DB.

@Tom-Elliott I upgraded to RC25 yesterday and have not been able to reproduce the issue again.

Is this the same case in RC-25?

I am unable to replicate the problem, though I tried with RC-25.

The only thing I can think of:

If you deleted the host and it showed back up in pending, the system was working as expected.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Tom-Elliott I agree that it should appear in pending if it’s not in the host DB but the client is installed on it and reporting to the server.

The issue is that when I delete the host from pending hosts (I’m not approving it), it should not still be added to the DB as a valid host.

@MRCUR I’m, again, not seeing the issue on RC-25. Mind updating and seeing if it works for you?’

Of course by the time you get to update, it might already be RC-26 time :).
