What happens if you run a hard refresh? (Shift + F5)

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Tom-Elliott said in New Security feature, cannot delete Hosts:

What happens if you run a hard refresh? (Shift + F5)

Host deletes but you have to close out of the page to get ofrf the screen he is seeing…

yes like my initial post is telling, delete Item(s) will not go away until i refresh the page.
The host will be deleted but the guy is buggy.

@Tom-Elliott I can start another thread if this is still an issue after updating, but I was trying to delete hosts on my iPhone since we are going around the school replacing PC’s today and imaging on site. This involved having to delete the old PC’s from FOG and registering the new ones. I was unable to search for hosts (all text in the field was italic and grey and didn’t yield results) and (after just listing all hosts) when I tried to delete a host, it just sat. This problem was happening on Chrome and Safari on my iPhone 5s. I can update in the morning and get screenshots. Can’t remember off the top of my head what Git we are on at the moment.

As a side note, I like the extra security feature for deletion due to interns coming in to help this summer! Very good idea.

@Tom-Elliott this is still not working with 7959

This will never go away, when i refresh the page after some minutes the hosts are gone.
If i try to refresh after some seconds instead of minutes the webif is very very slow or not responsible after some time it goes well again. There must be a problem with the new feature…maybe

@Tom-Elliott 7969 still not working loading endlessly and high cpu usage for apache services:

                      alt text

System is very unresponsible while this delete job is giving heavy load to the system. When i reboot fog the client to delete is gone.

More then 30 Minutes later, the system is still unresponsible:

                      alt text

hmm only a reboot or apache restart will fix it

                      Regards X23
