      I am able to get my hosts to PXE boot and they all are seeing my fog server just fine. However, they get stuck in a loop and never actually boot up to the fog GUI. Any help would be greatly appreciate as i have already went through all the wiki articles i could find related to this and tried to confirm all my settings/ permissions/ credentials we all correct.

        Well I can tell the error “SQL:: command” not found is not a good sign.

        What version of fog are you running?
        What linx OS distribution and version are you running on the FOG server.

        From what I can see in the picture the pxe booting process is OK, its something in the FOG server communicating with the SQL server database (guess).

          Seems to maybe a bug in r7729 and older(??)
          update: From the other thread r7727 is said to work. @Developers

            @george1421

            I am on Trunk build 7729 and yes i was about to say a few other people seem to be experiencing this same issue as i look through posts on here.

            Ubuntu 14

            Checked all my sql settings and can login successfully with the same credentials that the web interface has stored.

              @josh.martin Does this issue impact production? If it does there may be a way to roll back the changes (i.e. reinstall 7727 from the other thread). If it doesn’t impact production then lets let the developers see what changed between the two revisions.

                @george1421

                It is currently impacting production.
                Where can i find some instructions on down grading or am i supposed to do the upgrade process to a specific version?

                  @josh.martin Sorry I got side tracked on another issue.

                  Just to be clear, when I said impacting production this is something that can’t wait for a few hours until the devs check in, right?

                  Two things, what did you use to download the trunk git or svn
                  Second if this is on a vm do you have a way to snapshot it so if this breaks (always a possibility) we can return it to a known configuration? Because rolling back changes is not always supported.

                    Have you tried the FogApi powershell module? It's pretty cool IMHO

                      @Arrowhead-IT Thanks, I’ve been cross linking the similar threads back to https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/7490/boot-loop just so we have one place for the devs to look. When they resolve the boot-loop issue it should address the others too.

                        @george1421

                        I could in theory wait, but for future knowledge i wouldn’t mind knowing how to do this in the event i need to do it promptly.

                        Yes this is a VM so i already have taken a snapshot today in case something like this needed to happen.
