Hello!

I have a FOG server 1.2.0 latest SVN and kernel update of Linux image with Ubuntu 13.10. I have no way to create an image of a laptop Latitude D505 with XP installed.

When it runs the upload task, appears something similar like this:
“Fail in Line 17” at “…fog/scripts/bin/fog.statusreporter”
When the Linux image tries to boot and I see the differents commands running appears a line with “Illegal instruction”.

But I do not understand. You say that a D505 with 1.2.0 it works (so with 1.2.0 with latest SVN would work, right?).

I will wait for answers, if posible. Thank you very much!

Do you know what kernel/init are loading? My guess is it’s loading a 32 bit setup. Can you try an hour earlier kernel such as 3.18.0x86?

Hi Tom & All People!

I have updated my FOG server to this kernel (Unofficial Kernel):

Unofficial Published Kernels
Kernel - 3.18.4 TomElliott
Date : January 30, 2015
Version: 3.18.4
FOG Type: TomElliott
Arch Type: (x86)

And does not work, too. Today I have updated to the latest SVN update (3306) and I have found this when I see the kernels available, too:

@TheKoR Do you have WiKi access?

Right now, this thread is sort of running parallel to several other threads and our official hardware lists.

Is this possible to have a script which can collect informations once at upload and once at download ?

collect :

• brand
• model

and aggregate :

• kernel
• ipxe file
• fog svn
• bios version

??

Is this possible to have a script which can collect informations once at upload and once at download ?

collect :

• brand
• model

and aggregate :

• kernel
• ipxe file
• fog svn
• bios version

??

I second that.

It’d make maintaining the Working Hardware lists much easier.
