Can I change the FOG client banner and/or logo?

“Notifications! This one is small yet huge. Our goal is to make this service as professional as possible. We support users providing their own logos, banners, and company names to modify the tray & notifications as needed. Below is a sample of what reboot-notification looks like (the FOG banner & references are swapped out with your company’s)”

I’ve searched around but haven’t been able to find any instructions or examples of swapping the logo/banner. Is it possible yet, or still road-mapped for a future release?

We do not have this feature implemented yet, though perhaps we will for the next client release.The reason is that it has been such a low priority in out backlog that it simply hasn’t been focused on yet.

I can’t speak to the fog project, but in general many FOSS applications that are free to use, charge for the branding enabled options. And they typically stipulate that the FOSS application name and copyright information still appears (somewhere visibly) on the branded material, considering that the MSP is probably making some kind of profit from the setup of the FOSS software is only right that the MSP contribute some token back to the FOSS developers.

Thanks all for the replies. I agree with george1421 in that I’d be willing to pay/donate for this feature. Just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed something in looking for it.
