      Hey guys,
Sorry to keep bugging you, but I noticed this on my GUI. It seems to be a new phenomenon. There are 50 Mbps spikes in transmit. Here are the transmit stats from VMware for a similar time-frame:

I’m not sure what correlates to what exactly but VMware shows much smaller transmit spikes. Should I be worried?

      Thanks,
      Paul

        Marking this as solved.

The spikes aren’t that big (50Mbps). These are most likely clients that are booting up and are passing through network boot first, the spikes are them pulling the boot ROM from the fog server.

@fry_p i wouldn’t worry. frankly, i don’t think the graph is the most accurate thing in the world due to sample rate. it’s mostly useful to be able to tell if you’re saturating your connection to the server

Those aren’t big spikes. It could be computers booting up, and those spikes being the TFTP boot roms. Was this an upload on a really old computer?
