I have just installed Fog 1.2.0 on Ubuntu 12.04. I didn’t install the DHCP service because we have a DHCP server already on our network (Windows Server 2012 R2). When I try to PXE boot a host, it doesn’t come back with anything. I am able to ping the IP of my fog server, so I know that it is seen on the network. Any suggestions on what I should look at?

Did you set the pxe options in your DHCP server? OPtions 66 and 67 in Windows.

@PageTown If there is a PXE issue, the PXE boot loader should display an error message like PXE-EXX where XX is an integer number. Can you provide a bit more detail in what you are seeing?

I should have said more earlier. Here is a good spot to start: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Troubleshoot_TFTP

But most likely, it’s dhcp options needing set like @ITSolutions said.

More detail like @george1421 said would be good. How about some pictures of what you’re seeing?
