I have been enjoying using this software, and was wondering how to become a developer.
I see this as a benefit for me to build up my resume, and gain invaluable experience in my field.

Write some code or fix a bug and post it 🙂

          Or create a feature…

That might be easier than bug fixing if you’re new to it. It’s what I plan to do.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

                Chris,

What exactly are you thinking about developing? Are you trying to do the Group->associative properties thing?

I have not been on the forums for a little while but I just wanted to pop my head in and say a big thank you to all the developers and testers who spend there spare time working on this great product, I have just this week fired up fog 1.2.0 and started adding custom pxe menus isos and lots of other great stuff that without these informative forums and wiki threads id be well and truly screwed.

so from somebody who’s day to day working life would not survive without fog thank you all very much.

P.s interested to see what other people are doing to pimp up there new fog system, my next thought is add several av malware iso’s to allow a sheep dip scenario.

I had done this as recently in 0.32, and it was quite doable. The Wiki is still relevant on such a task. I’d be happy to help with this as I move to a new FOG server myself. But let’s make a new thread for this or necro a relevant thread.
