      Good Morning:

A simple question. I am told that Fog is not compatible with creating/managing images with Windows 11. Is there a way to confirm that if true or not? I have 15 systems I would like to image/deploy. Thank you in advance.

      Louis

@louisjjames Hello, I am able to capture/deploy Windows 11 images just fine. When you create an image, there is no Windows 11 selection but just use Windows 10 and it will work.

While I don’t ave personal experience imaging windows 11 with FOG, but functionally the current release of windows 11 and windows 10 are the same from the perspective of imaging. Its true that the fog code does not specifically call out windows 11, but that is because imaging wise there are no differences. Now if Microsoft changes windows 11’s disk structure or such, then that will force the developers to add a specific menu for windows 11 to adapt the imaging process with the windows 11 specific code.

I can also atest to this. Windows 11 is not having any issue with my Dell Latitude 7440 2-in-1’s. Select “Windows 10” as your OS and you should be just fine…for now 🤛
