      @Arrowhead-IT We’ve been trying to use the “Upgrade to trunk” article ever since Sourceforge failed for about two weeks straight a while back… The Upgrade to Trunk article has git instructions, along with instructions to pull the latest TAR’d up from the chief’s servers.

      The svn article actually needs merged with the “Upgrade to trunk” article IMO, and the old article redirected/linked to the main one.

    • RE: FOG Post install script for Win Driver injection

      @Tom-Elliott I think having more than one repo for community scripts is a bad idea. It’s just scripts. It’s not jumbled together. It’s well organized, every contribution has a readme. The entire idea was to put scripts into one place.

      @bsmaby FTP is used to move images from /images/dev to /images. If this fails then it’s likely a simple credentials mismatch. You will find your solution in the credentials area of our FTP Troubleshooting article, here: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Troubleshoot_FTP

      Deleting those lines causes my Multicast Join entry to not work (like I can select it but it just knocks me back to the first menu). Is there a way to hard code the user and pass into the param of multijoin? If so, what would that look like? Like if I wanted to hardcode username “fog” and password “password”.

      Sorry for the double post, but I got ballsy and tried it myself and this worked for me. My multijoin params are:

      params
      param mac0 ${net0/mac}
      param arch ${arch}
      param username fog
      param password password
      param sessionJoin 1
      isset ${net1/mac} && param mac1 ${net1/mac} || goto bootme
      isset ${net2/mac} && param mac2 ${net2/mac} || goto bootme

      got rid of the first login line (I guess that’s the login prompt) and then changed the user/pass lines from ${username} to a username I wanted (default account fog) and its ${password} “password”.

      Changing the default entry also worked, although in my mind I really wanted to arranged differently, but that’s okay too.

      Thank you, guys. 🙂

      Now that is sweet, good job and great solution!

      @Cyrus CentOS 7 for FOG Trunk.

      I don’t even recommend fog 1.2.0 any more. Just go straight to trunk. It’s solid.

      @kverkiss Have you thought that perhaps simply turning the machine off and unplugging everything is what fixes it? I’ve been wondering about this myself lately. I’ve talked with our network guys and they’ve assured me both switches that I have different experiences with are configured identically. However, the runs from the problematic connection are a lot longer, which matches up with your distance-related hypothesis.

      @mecsr Can you run find / | grep /dev/.mntcheck please to locate where your image directory is?

      Also, how big is the image you’re trying to capture, In terms of space used?

      The image I’m trying to capture is at most, 300 GB. My image directory is just at /images.

      So you only have 431GB of space available on / and if your image is 300GB, then the FTP move at the end may cause issues if the data is copied and then deleted, instead of just moved. Going to ask the @Developers for clarification on the process - this has come up before.

      I’m on board for testing it out. I can try it with the handful of models I have in my office and it that goes well, I can make the change for the building.
