@Wayne-Workman There is no simple answer to this I suppose. A great plus is that the used chipset is mentioned: ASIX AX88772A/B
Looking through the forums you can find people who successfully netbooted iPXE with that USB NIC (legacy BIOS/undionly.kkpxe!). Not sure about EFI - I guess it will cause trouble!
And you should never forget that USB NIC PXE booting depends on the client machine as well. The BIOS needs to properly talk to the USB NIC/chipset in question. So ASIX AX88772A/B working on a HP stream book for example does not mean it will work with all other tablets/gadgets as well. It’s very hard to tell beforehand. I have been testing quietly for some time now and the NIC to get is the StarTech USB21000S2 . Every machine I have thrown at it seem to either PXE boot just fine or UEFI boot. I haven’t gone as far as to test the FOG client yet to see all machines are working but for most it seems to work.
IT seems the SMSC - LAN7500 is about as generic as you can get and it widely used compared to all others. Hell it is even supported under Novell.

If this was a usb memory stick and ethernet adapter I would say its a win. Right now FOS doesn’t have the facilities to connect to wifi for image deployment. I would even question if that was a good idea since wifi is a shared medium. Don’t get me wrong, it would be something interesting to try but I still think for image deployment cabled ethernet is a better choice.
Just thinking about the numbers if you have 802.11n that is 54Mb/s (assuming 2.4Ghz) or 7MB/s shared as compared to 100Mbs or 12.5MB/s and GbE at 125MB/s (theoretical).
In the case of the tables, probably a usb 2.0 or usb 3.0 external powered hub (like this $8USD one from Fry’s https://www.google.com/express/product/13627542310201456003_13572235342948068777_6136318?mall=Texas&directCheckout=1 )is going to be the solution unless we can find an all in one like these wifi/memory sticks.
